In addition, the surgical procedure and post-operative course are thoroughly reviewed prior to any surgical intervention.

Biography: Dr. Lydia Lee is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with specialty training in advanced foot and ankle care. She graduated from the University of Southern California and completed medical school in Houston at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Lee finished her orthopaedic surgery residency at USC in Los Angeles and a foot and ankle subspecialty fellowship with Dr. Troy Watson in Las Vegas. After growing a successful foot and ankle practice in Orange County, California, she is excited to return to Houston.Dr. Lee specializes in the treatment of foot and ankle conditions, including ankle fractures and other trauma, bunions and forefoot deformities, diabetic wounds and infections, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, flat feet, ankle instability, sports injuries, tendon disorders, and heel pain. She has had additional training in ankle arthroscopy, total ankle replacement, and minimally invasive bunion correction. She stays up to date with active memberships in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.Dr. Lee enjoys traveling, trail running, and trying new food with her husband. She speaks English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese.

Dr. Matthew Hammit received his education from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Biology, then accomplished his Medical Doctorate at Texas A&M University Health Science Center. He then went on to the University of Mississippi Medical Center and received his Orthopaedic Residency. He enjoys being the Team Physician for Conroe High School, Magnolia High School, Magnolia West High School and The Woodlands United Methodist Church. Biography: Dr. Raheel Ali, MD is an Orthopedic Surgery Specialist who practices in Shenandoah, TX. Dr. Raheel Ali, MD is affiliated with Houston Methodist and Houston Methodist the Woodlands Hospital.

Biography: Dr. Mark Eilers is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. Dr. Eilers graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then attended Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he obtained a Master of Science in Pharmacology. Dr. Eilers earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, after which he completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Southern Illinois University. Upon completion of residency, he then went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at TRIA Orthopedics in Minneapolis, MN. While there, he had the privilege of providing team physician coverage for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball, NHLs Minnesota Wild, University of Minnesota Division 1 Hockey, Gustavus Adolphus Division 3 Football, Minnesota Magicians NAHL Hockey, and Washburn High School Athletics teams. Prior to coming on board at Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Eilers spent time practicing in Odessa, Texas, where he provided team physician coverage for the University of Texas of the Permian Basin Division 2 athletics, Permian and Odessa High School athletics, and several other high schools in the West Texas region. Dr. Eilers' areas of focus include cartilage injuries to the knee, as well as tendon and complex ligamentous injuries to the knee, ankle, elbow, and shoulder. These injuries include multiple ligament knee injuries, anterior and posterior cruciate tears, meniscus injuries, rotator cuff tears, and biceps tendon injuries. In addition, Dr. Eilers also performs acute fracture care and manages osteoarthritis of the knee and shoulder with advanced procedures including partial and total joint replacement using Mako robotic technology.

Biography: Brian Vial is a fellowship-trained hand, wrist, and upper extremity surgeon specializing in operative and non-operative treatment of fractures from the hand to the shoulder, nerve entrapment such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, peripheral nerve injuries, tendon injuries, rotator cuff tears, and arthritis of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. He also holds an interest in targeted muscle reinnervation (TMR), a surgery that can alleviate post-operative nerve pain for amputees.Dr. Vial enjoys the complexity of upper extremity surgery and utilizes a multimodal, evidence-based approach to treatment. He believes that the best outcomes occur when the patient shares in the decision-making process; therefore, he prioritizes ensuring his patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
