Care Philosophy: The cornerstone of my patient treatment philosophy is integrative care, of which surgery is but one component. I am committed to a patient-centered, multidisciplinary approach to spinal disorders that might include deformity, tumor, trauma, spinal cord injury, and degenerative disease, and I tailor treatment plans to individual patients for optimal outcomes. For patients who require surgery, I don't believe my role ends after the procedure. I am interested in long-term outcomes following spinal surgery, and to that end I follow my patients long after they leave the OR, and I continue to utilize a team-based approach during the post-operative period.

Care Philosophy: Back and neck pain are the second most common reasons people seek medical advice, but the care has been very fragmented. It's long been my passion to bring together all the many disciplines required to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and care for back and neck disorders. Surgical intervention is really just a small part of what we do – but when surgery is required we always strive for the least invasive, most effective option to get our patients back to enjoying their lives.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Anthony is a Harvard-trained, Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, hip, and knee. Dr. Anthony is committed to educating patients about their injury and involving them in all aspects of their care.
