We love absolutely everything about coastal living - boating, sailing and every other water sport. Our children play softball, volleyball, soccer and - thanks to our proximity to the water - sailing. \n While I love all sports, softball has a special place in my heart. I have played - and coached - softball for many years and am honored to be in the Athletic Hall of Fame at my alma mater.

Biography: I've practiced in Charleston, South Carolina, since 1998 and have been with Lowcountry OB/GYN since 2006. \n I went to the University of South Carolina and graduated cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. I went on to earn my medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and complete my residency at West Virginia University. \n My special interests include counseling patients who are considering getting pregnant, treating the symptoms of menopause and treating HPV, a very common sexually transmitted infection. I'm also trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery. \n I'm board-certified, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Charleston County Medical Society. \n I am married and have two daughters.

Care Philosophy: My Dear Patients, After careful consideration, I have decided to go into private practice with a non-insurance cash-only practice. This is a wonderful and new medical practice model called, "Direct Primary Care." I will be staying in my office at "The Village" at The Landings on Skidaway Island. I have 'Admitting' and 'Surgical' privileges for both Candler and Memorial Hospitals. My new practice model will allow me to care for patients the way that I have always done - with empathy, care, and compassion. I will not be accepting any commercial insurance, Medicaid, Tricare, or Medicare. This is not health insurance. This practice model does not yet count as health insurance on your taxes.
