Biography: Masoud Rezvani, MD, FACS, earned his medical degree at the Islamic Azad University in Tehran, Iran. He completed his residency training in General Surgery at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA. Following his residency, Dr. Rezvani completed a dedicated specialized fellowship in minimally invasive weight loss surgery, where he has gained expertise and experience in advanced laparoscopic bariatric surgery and surgical endoscopy. His training also included robotic surgery utilizing the DaVinci System to perform weight loss surgery. Dr. Rezani is certified by the American Board of Surgery and his a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Care Philosophy: In addition to treating many aspects of general surgery, Dr. Meikle focuses his practice on the expert treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the colon, rectum and anus. He is keenly aware of the apprehension that many patients may feel when they need to see a physician for a colorectal surgery problem and strives to make the patient feel as comfortable as possible throughout their treatment course. Biography: Joseph Greene, MD, MBA, FACS, FASMBS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in bariatric and general surgery with Capital Surgical Associates in Reston, Virginia, and is affiliated with Reston Hospital Center. Dr. Greene earned his Doctor of Medicine at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Coral Gables, Florida. He then completed his residency in general surgery with MedStar Health Georgetown/Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., and a bariatric, robotic, and advanced laparoscopic surgery fellowship at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia. Prior to his medical training, he earned a Master of Business Administration in Health Sector Management and Policy from University of Miami. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Greene is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He speaks English and Spanish and has proficiency in Hebrew. He specializes in advanced, minimally-invasive and robotic surgical techniques for weight loss, hernia repair, reflux (GERD), and stomach and gallbladder conditions. Dr. Greene travels the country teaching surgical techniques to other specialists and currently serves on the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Access to Care Committee to expand access to obesity treatment services nationwide. He is a Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the American Medical Association. Dr. Greene has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented at national and international conferences on many topics related to bariatric, robotic, and general surgery. As one of the top weight loss specialists in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area, he was recognized as a Top Doctor in Washingtonian Magazine in 2021, 2022, and 2023.When Dr. Greene isn't taking care of patients, he stays active with his wife and son and enjoys Peloton spin cycling, bicycling, distance running, and altitude hiking. In addition, his hobbies also include automotive repair.
