Care Philosophy: Dr Amalia Stefanou is as an Assistant Member in the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Stefanou previously worked at Henry Ford Medical Group/Henry Ford Hospital and Wayne State University School of Medicine, where she achieved the rank of Assistant Professor. Dr Stefanou received her MD degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan, and she completed a Residency in General Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. Care Philosophy: Dr Pow-Sang is a surgeon and Chair of the Department of Genitourinary Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Pow-Sang is a principal investigator for numerous genitourinary cancer clinical trials and is a member of the prostate cancer guidelines panel for the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and member of the Florida Prostate Cancer Advisory Council. In addition, he is on the editorial board and a reviewer for many professional journals, as well as a member of professional medical societies in the U.S., Europe, and South America. A native of Peru, Dr Pow-Sang received his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico.

Biography: Dr. Huang is a fellowship-trained abdominal organ transplant surgeon. and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He earned his medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis, MO and completed his residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Huang then went on to complete a fellowship with the LifeLink Transplant Institute in Tampa. He currently serves as the surgical director of renal transplantation for Tampa General Medical Group and is the vice chief of general surgery at Tampa General Hospital. Dr. Huang also holds an affiliate assistant professor appointment from the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, department of surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, basketball, violin and photography. Dr. Huang is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, Spanish and French.

Biography: Dr. Carolina Martinez, MD is a Complex General Surgical Oncology Specialist who practices in Tampa, FL. She is 38 years old. Dr. Carolina Martinez, MD is affiliated with Tampa General Hospital and Tampa General Hospital.

Care Philosophy: Dr Zemp received his MD from the University of Alberta in Canada, where he also completed a Urology Residency. Most recently, he completed a Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Zemp's clinical focus is management of urologic malignancies including kidney, bladder, prostate, and testis cancer. His research interests focus on improving post-operative surgical care and the patient experience with those who have undergone major abdominal/pelvic operations, specifically radical cystectomy, using patient-reported outcomes and biometric data.

Care Philosophy: Dr Gilbert received his MD degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians & Surgeons, and he completed a Residency in the Department of Urology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident, in 2005. He completed the following Fellowships at the University of Michigan Health Systems: Health Services Research Fellow (7/2005-6/2008) and Urologic Oncology Fellow (7/2006-6/2008).Dr Gilbert joined Moffitt in 2014 after serving as Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine from 2008 - 2014. Dr Gilbert's clinical practice focuses on the surgical and multidisciplinary management of urologic cancers, including, bladder, kidney, and testis cancers.

Care Philosophy: A native of Connecticut, Dr Poch entered Brown University as an undergraduate in the Program of Liberal Medical Education. He graduated with a BA in Biology from Brown University and went on to complete medical school at Brown Medical School. He stayed in Providence, Rhode Island at Brown University to complete his urology residency training.After residency he moved to Buffalo, New York to complete a Society for Urologic Oncology accredited urologic oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. His clinical interests include bladder, kidney and prostate cancer with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgery and robotics.

Care Philosophy: Dr Ricardo Gonzalez is a surgical oncologist and Chair of the Sarcoma Department at Moffitt Cancer Center. He also serves as a member of the Cutaneous Program at Moffitt Cancer Center. He is an associate professor at the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine's Department of Oncologic Sciences and Department of Surgery. Dr Gonzalez' research and clinical interests include outcomes analyses and management of patients with soft tissue sarcomas, retroperitoneal sarcomas, desmoid tumors, gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) and head and neck melanoma.

Care Philosophy: Dr Sexton graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. While at Furman, he was a member of the University's National Championship Football Team. He attended Emory University School of Medicine and then completed his general surgery and urology residency training at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Following residency, Dr Sexton entered military service and while on active duty with the United States Air Force (USAF), completed a Fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC). From 2001-2004, he was stationed at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, and while on active duty was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal.

Care Philosophy: Dr Yu received her MD from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She completed a Urology Residency at the McGill University Health Center. Subsequently, she spent two years in Boston, Massachusetts where she completed a Urologic Oncology Fellowship in the Combined Harvard Program at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr Yu's clinical practice focuses on the surgical treatment of urologic cancers including prostate, bladder, kidney, penile and testicular cancer, using minimally invasive (laparoscopic and robotic) and open techniques. She is interested in surgical outcomes research and quality improvement with a focus on bladder and prostate cancers.
