Outstanding
I met Dr. Kazil when I needed Cartorid surgery which turned out fantastically. Appointment wait times are okay when you think about the time each patient wants. She explained everything clearly so even an Army Veteran could understand. When I took medicine that caused me to cough violently it gave me a double hernia. Dr. K took care of that 3 days ago and apparently that worked out well as I am sitting here bragging about Her and Myself and my Wife.

You're in good hands with Dr Kazil
Dr Jenna Kazil performed a left inguinal hernia repair on me in September 2022 at HSA South Shore Hospital. The repair was performed robotically. I knew that I was in good hands from the moment that I met her. She was kind, considerate and professional. She explained everything about the procedure and what I could expect both before and after during recovery. All descriptions were spot on. She saw me before the procedure and assured me that everything was going to be ok. Where I was in recovery she called my wife to tell her that I was fine and that my procedure was textbook. She made herself available when I needed advice about pain medication. As I write this (two weeks after the procedure) I am healing fine and am very impressed by Dr Jenna and recommend her highly.

Worst experience with a doctor ever
One of the worst experiences with a medical "professional" I have ever encountered. Appointment changed/cancelled multiple times, the last, as I was pulling into the parking lot. The no-show fee is steep, and had it been the other way around I would have been required to pay it, yet nothing was offered not even an apology. When I finally spoke with Dr. Kazil, her pompous attitude and over-inflated ego immediately came to the surface. Upon questioning the value of my wasted time for previous appointments, she decided that she would not be a good fit as a doctor for me, so I left. At least I wasn’t charged the no show fee! Of the people I encountered in this practice, the only one with any professionalism and apathy was the young lady answering the phone. BEWARE of this Dr. and her practice.

She’s a lifesaver!
Dr Kazil took time to listen to me and talk to me. Her ability to place stents in a difficult area solved problems that other doctors couldn’t. Her stents have opened up a whole new life for me. I am forever indebted to her and her expertise, kindness, caring and happy personality

I came to see Dr. Jenna Kazil this past week for truly awful hemorrhoids and the pain they cause. First of all thank you to the staff who are both incredibly professional and caring. Truly they reflect so well on you and your nursing staff. You came up with a potential non surgical solution as due to other factors I am not a good surgical candidate. The treatment appears to be helping but even if it hadn’t your knowledge, expertise and wonderful bedside manner can’t be overstated. A huge shoutout to your nurse as well as she presented with all of those same attributes that you possess. For those reading this post let me assure you I have had several very complex and serious health challenges and I have worked in health care as a patient advocate. I have seen some of the best physicians in the country at places like John’s Hopkins, GEorge Washington Hospital, D.C and the National Institute of Health. Dr. Kazil is among the very finest I have ever seen, we are very fortunate.

Dr. Kazil is a magnificent surgeon! My surgery was for a pilonidal cyst excision. I felt incredibly secure with Dr. Kazil as my surgeon due to her wealth of knowledge and expertise. She showed great confidence in her skills and was very professional. Not only was she efficient, but she and her staff went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable during my surgery since I had declined anesthesia. I cannot say enough how wonderful it is to be under the care of Dr. Kazil and her staff. They are absolute treasures! I am so appreciative of her work and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Kazil saved my life-two other doctors couldn't
Dr. Jenna Kazil recognized something missed by two other gastrologists, and saved my life. I am an 80-year old woman who lives in Sun City Center, Florida. I went to Dr. Kazil to see if she could remove scar tissue which had put a kink in my colon that prevented me from having a complete colonoscopy. I had previously been to two other doctors who were unable to repair the kink, and could not determine any suitable courses of treatment. Dr. Kazil was the third doctor I saw, and the first doctor to fully listen to me and make a genuine effort to understand my issues, and the pain that came with them. After attempting to correct the kink in my colon through minimally invasive surgery, she determined my colon was severely inflamed. After over nine hours of surgery, Dr. Kazil was able to remove the kink and reduce the swelling in my colon. After leaving the hospital with a colostomy, Dr. Kazil truly made me feel like she cared about me and my quality of life. She is a great doctor!

Dr Jenna Kazil performed a inguinal hernia repair using robotic surgery. Prior to surgery, appointments were scheduled in a timely fashion and I was quite pleased that office visits had short wait times. Her staff was attentive, friendly and provided a sense of caring. Dr Kazil offered several options for surgery and took the time to discuss the pluses and minus of each helping me decide which approach was best for me. The surgery went very smoothly and I experienced very minor discomfort post recovery which I attribute to the skill in which the procedure was performed by Dr Kazil. I highly recommend Dr Kazil.

A Real Gem Dr. Kazil is the type of physician that you used to see. Someone who is more interested in your health, well-being and medicine than how quickly she can get you in and out to satisfy a managed care insurance company. She is very caring, knowledgeable and can individualize treatment to meet your specific needs. She is very thorough and will answer any questions you may have. But it doesn’t stop there. She adds the ability to listen to you and collaborate as well. I have learned to trust her judgment and her skills, as will you.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Kazil as a general surgeon. Firstly, it is difficult to find surgeons with general surgical skills in the Manatee / Sarasota area, so I was pleased to be able to see her without a long waiting list. During the initial interview she was thorough, explaining her findings and the surgical plan and she immediately added my case to her busy surgical list. In addition, her staff were efficient and very helpful in dealing with a significant insurance challenge. There was good post surgery follow up and my experience overall was of a caring, hardworking professional to whom I would recommend relatives and friends should they have any general surgical needs.

I had been going to another surgeon for a cyst that continued to get infected, was removed, then the scar continued to get infected until I switched to Dr. Kazil. She performed surgery and cleaned everything up, she was very informative as to everything step-by-step along the way. Any questions she answered and made me feel extremely at ease. Healing process was way faster than my original surgery and I am infection free!

Excellent surgeon. I found Dr. Kazil when researching physicians for a second opinion about a benign breast issue. She listened to me and gave good advice. She ended up completing a milk duct excision and the procedure went very smoothly. She cared about making the scar look good and keeping my breast tissue looking normal. I was so impressed by her skill and professionalism. I would definitely recommend her as a surgeon and definitely consider her if you need a second opinion.

Dr. Kazil is probably the best doctor I've found since I moved to FL. I had to have my gallbladder removed and she was just as kind and professional as I could have hoped. I felt very comfortable with her as my surgeon. The combination of knowledge, empathy, and her straight forward diagnosis and explanation of what to expect is rare to find in the medical field. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Let me start by saying a visit at this office (with Dr. Kazil and her staff) will be one of the best experiences you can have. I took my 90 year old dad to see Dr. Kazil. Although, they were a little behind (completely understandable at a Dr.'s office), Dr. Kazil did not rush my dad's appointment. She is thorough, knowledgeable, patient, responsive and her caring disposition comes through in her words and her actions. Evan checked us in and he can be the C.E.O. of The Customer Service Experience (he is awesome). Last night, my dad received a visit from Peter (I believe). My dad dropped his wallet at some time during the visit. Peter on behalf of Dr.Kazil, brought my dad's wallet to his home. My family is appreciative, speechless and grateful. If I have the names of Evan and Peter incorrect, please give our "thanks" to all involved.

I felt very comfortable and confident with Dr. Kazil right from the very beginning. Dr. Kazil was very knowledgeable and is caring to her patients. She works well with the team of physicians involved with my diagnosis and she explained in detail about all aspects of my surgeries. She was quick to perform my surgeries with no complications. Her office staff are top notch too.
