Care Philosophy: My care philosophy is to treat every patient just as I would treat my own family, with empathy, compassion, and honesty. I believe it is both an honor and a privilege to be able to take care of patients and their families, and I take this opportunity very seriously.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Thon works with all of his patients to develop a treatment plan that is specifically tailored for each individual. Surgery is considered only when all non-operative measures have failed and/or surgery will achieve the best long-term outcome for each patient.

Care Philosophy: I am a passionate person by nature. You will see this in how I treat you. We will address your orthopedic problems together with the goal of getting you back to the activities you love. Many of us love the same activities. I am passionate about skiing, biking, golf, scuba diving, cooking and old muscle cars as well. It is truly my privilege to help people live active lives, do so with less pain and restriction, and become friends along the way. Together, my team will do our very best to help you return to the activities you are passionate about.

Care Philosophy: I believe the most important thing is to take compassionate, appropriate care of my patients. I would rather have people understand that I would like to help people rather than that I trained well. Medicine is fun, because you can have relationships with people. It was great to serve as a military field surgeon before entering my residency at Fitzsimmons hospital. One can still feel a little altruism about serving our country.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Maa believes that treating patients with epilepsy begins by learning a patient's history and understanding how epilepsy has impacted different aspects of life. This approach provides a better understanding of how to integrate medication therapy, support services, surgical interventions, and clinical trials most effectively.
