Biography: Katie Goldhair, M.D., is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery and all forms and stages of glaucoma treatment. Dr. Goldhair's passion for helping people and medicine began as a clinic assistant, which eventually lead her to pursue her own ophthalmology career. She previously served as the attending physician Ophthalmology at the VA Medical Center in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dr. Goldhair received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee; spent her ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi; and completed her glaucoma fellowship at the Louisiana State University Ochsner Medical Center. In her spare time, Dr. Goldhair enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking and running. In 2012, she completed the St. Jude half marathon as a St. Jude Hero.
