Dr. Ken Kreidl, MD

After reading various reviews on eye doctors/surgeons, I noted that Dr. Kreidl received high reviews. I am delighted to confirm and reinforce those reviews. As background, I was experiencing rapid deterioration of vision due to cataracts. From my first interaction onward, Dr. Kreidl demonstrated patience in explaining the procedure as well as answering all my questions in a meaningful way. Everything he said to expect was exactly how everything happened without overstating or understating anything. I was nervous about a procedure on my eyes however Dr. Kreidl was superb in laying things out for me. In addition, the surgery center he uses for the procedure that took excellent care of me from the time I walked into the center to the time I left. Dr. Kriedl, Lina, and the rest of the team provided some of the best medical care I have ever received in my life with the added benefit that I now have the best vision I have ever had! I am both thankful and grateful!

BEWARE: Boulder Surgery Center and Dr Kriedl's office both tried to charge me for an upgraded lens. When I refused to double pay and asked them to document, after months of dispute, they changed the code of the paperwork that I had signed! Beyond belief.

Dr. Ken Kreidl is a very competent, caring, and exceptional ophthalmologist. I felt comfort throughout the whole cataract testing and surgery. My results were fabulous. I can not recommend Dr Kreidl more highly.

The technology of removing cataracts and replacing them with an artificial lens is quite spectacular these days, and Dr. Ken Kreidl is a master of the complicated but elegant craft. The procedure on my right eye was done under a powerful microscope and took less than 20 minutes. Two hours later, Dr. Kreidl examined the results with precision optical equipment, found all to be in order, and pronounced that the healing process had already begun. Two weeks later, he repeated the process on my left eye. All parts of the process before, during, and after went smoothly and were largely pain free. I no longer need to wear glasses for distance or close-in vision for the first time in 50 years and now use reading glasses only for reading small print. Dr. Kreidl communicates well and clearly, answers questions with candor, and seems to be a splendid human being. The staff are bright, delightful, and most helpful.

Dr. Kreidl and his staff are professionals at the top of their game. Ken has been my ophthalmologist for about 4 years and I just yesterday finished cataract surgery. They were prompt, willing to answer all our many questions, patient and easy to work with.

Dr Kreidl has been my Opthamologist for several years.I developed cataracts over the years & Dr Kreidl suggested watchful waiting. Recently he recommended surgery and was very helpful in explaining why surgery was indicated now and describing the procedure.The surgery went well with minimal discomfort.I had been wearing bifocals for 35 years but after cataract removal i no longer need glasses for reading or distance.I am very pleased & thankful for Dr. Kreidl's skill &kindness.

I highly recommend Dr. Kreidl after having cataract surgery. I was very pleased with his expertise, communication, the time he took to explain the options and procedure. He and his staff were very efficient and quick to respond to my questions via the patient portal. I appreciated his recommendation to get the toric lens due to astigmatism and the immediate excellent results.

Dr. Kreidl did a YAG laser treatment as well as my second cataract surgery after multiple complications with first cataract surgeon in another town. From a comparison point of view of the 2 opthamologists, Dr. Kreidl was outstanding! He was personable, MUCH MORE communicative, volunteering information, explaining all procedures/surgery effectively & reasons for the need for YAG treatment. His honesty was refreshing and much appreciated. YAG & cataract surgery went great!

I recently had cataract removal and lens implants in both eyes. The entire experience was easier than I had envisioned and my recovery went very well.
