Biography: Dr. Farah Hameed was raised in Houston, TX for most of her life. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in the Plan II Honors Program and graduated with University Honors. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where she was awarded her Medical Degree. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Boston University Medical Center, and she completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School/Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. She completed her fellowship in Spine and Sports Medicine at Northwestern University through the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago where she won the Baskin Award for excellence in research. She serves as the Medical Director of women's health rehabilitation. She is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Hameed is also an Associate Professor at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine. She serves as the Department Chair of Quality and Patient Safety and is the Associate Chair of Faculty Development. She has been nominated and inducted into the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Academy of Clinical Excellence (ACE). She has also been named as one of NY's Super Doctors. Dr. Hameed sees patients of all ages, from adolescents to adults. Additionally, she specializes in pregnancy related back and pelvic girdle pain as well as caring for female athletes. Biography: Dr. Ben Shin is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. He specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. His clinical interest focuses on providingpatient-centered care using individualized multidisciplinary team approach to treat a variety of painful musculoskeletal and neurological conditions related to neck, back, joints, nerves, tendons, and muscles. Dr. Shin offers his patients a comprehensive set of potential procedures to alleviate pain using minimally invasive techniques including, but not limited to: fluoroscopically-guided spine/joint procedures, ultrasound-guided peripheralnerve blocks, regenerative medicine treatments, and neuromodulation.Dr. Shin received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He then attended Baylor College of Medicine wherehe earned his medical degree. He completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then completed his ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pain Medicine at UC San Diego Center for PainManagement.Outside of work, Dr. Shin is a competitive soccer player and swimmer. He completed his internship at Stony Brook Medicine-Southampton Hospital, followed by a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia/Cornell in 2020. After his Fellowship focusing on Pain Medicine, Dr. Haffey joined Columbia University Medical Center in May 2021 and Weill Cornell Medicine in February 2025 up to present.
