Dr. Heyse is a dedicated general surgeon with a particular interest on improving the lives of patients requiring dialysis access. He provides comprehensive surgical care for individuals with chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), and dialysis access needs alongside a broad range of acute care surgical conditions. As a general surgeon, he performs procedures such as arteriovenous fistula creation, peritoneal dialysis catheter placement, laparoscopic-assisted VP shunt placement, appendectomy, bowel resection, and hernia repair. Dr. Heyse's philosophy of care is rooted in a down-to-earth and pragmatic approach, prioritizing the individual patient's well-being and experience over solely focusing on the disease itself. Outside of his professional career, Dr. Heyse enjoys spending time with his wife and children and finds creative fulfillment in music production.
