He saved my husbands life. he had to have emergency surgery and this man right here is one heck of a dr and is so sweet caring and amzing bedside... i would suggest him a million times over..... thank you dr simmons your amazing.

In the two years in which I have known Dr. Simmons, this was the first time I had seen him without a mask. That brought me up short. I realized that I had never seen his face. That took some getting used to. However, his manner was the same. He always gives the impression that he is there only to deal with your problems and any questions you might have. (I know better) . He listens to what you have to say. Thanks!

Healthcare is not a retail service... It's great that my doctor asked me if there was anything else he could do for me before I left, but it left me feeling like I was ordering take out instead of getting advice from a medical professional. I was given all the information I needed to make my own medical decision about my body, which is great, but the doctor placed no importance on any specific route of care - leaving me feeling that I could choose to ignore my medical issue, or go through with minor surgery, and either would be just fine. Are doctors not allowed to give guidance on the best route of care anymore, or was my problem viewed as unimportant and negligible in comparison to others? I attempted to ask what he thought I should do, according to what he observed. He echoed my previous options back to me, without suggesting a definitive answer. I go to a doctor because they're knowledgeable in areas I am not - they should offer definitive guidance on what route of care they think your body would benefit from best - not just and only give you options and let you randomly pick (unless they just don't think it's that serious, in which case they should TELL YOU that). Aside from this suggestion, my doctor was cordial and seemed caring. My experience was fine. Mostly on time, probably would have been right on time if the patient before me hadn't been late to his appointment. It seems lately like more and more doctors are offering only options, without any actual guidance on what the correct course of treatment would be. If doctors don't have a solid opinion, how can we?
