Biography: Dr. Steven Sheng was born in Beijing, China, and immigrated to the United States as a child, where he grew up on Long Island, New York. After completing his primary education, Dr. Sheng went on to George Washington University where he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy while also obtaining a minor in Biological Sciences. After his undergraduate program, Dr. Sheng went on to serve in the New York Teaching Fellows program, where he was an educator in New York City for two years. Dr. Sheng completed the program while earning his Masters in Education from Queens College. Dr. Sheng then attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he completed his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Sheng completed his residency as a Chief Resident at The Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, New York.Dr. Sheng is committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care in both general and high-risk obstetrics. Dr. Sheng also provides a wide range of gynecological care, including annual exams, preventative care visits, early screening, infertility counseling, treatment of sexually transmitted infections, and contraceptive management. His scope of practice also includes the management of cervical, vulvar, uterine, and ovarian pathology; endometriosis; fibroids; ovarian cysts; and abnormal pap smears.Dr. Sheng has admitting privileges and performs deliveries and minimally invasive procedures at NewYork-Presybterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. Biography: Dr. Michelle Santoyo is a full time, board certified attending physician practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology. As of February 2019, she has joined Maternal Fetal Medicine Associates and is eager to serve the Mount Sinai community. Dr. Santoyo attended medical school at Albert Einstein School of Medicine, graduating in 2007. She completed her residency at North Shore University Hospital in 2011. After twelve years of clinical experience, Dr. Santoyo has developed superior surgical skills and obstetrical expertise, delivering professional and compassionate care to her patients. Dr. Santoyo understands a comprehensive approach to women's health. She enjoys incorporating lifestyle changes and encourages non-invasive approaches to treatment. Dr. Santoyo has a particular interest in obstetrics, family planning, and performing gynecologic operative hysteroscopies. She also enjoys working with adolescent and pediatric populations, emphasizing various preventative health care strategies in a comfortable and secure setting, while guiding young women to be advocates for their own health. Dr. Santoyo was honored to represent the junior fellow division of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She served as ACOG district chair for the region during her second and third years of residency In 2009, as a second-year resident, Dr Santoyo created a mentoring program between senior and intern residents. Once an attending at North Shore Hospital, she also served as a faculty mentor for minority students and as a clinical preceptor for many nurse practitioners. Dr. Santoyo is a very caring and supportive physician. She speaks fluent Spanish. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling, running, and CrossFit. She understands the demands placed on women and makes it her mission to promote their overall well being.

Biography: Dr. Katherine Husk is a board-certified Urogynecologist, specializing in the care of women with pelvic floor disorders, including care for conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence/accidental bowel leakage, bladder pain, pelvic pain, and urinary, and bowel dysfunction. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for these conditions, including non-surgical management, office-based procedures, and a range of surgical approaches including robotic, abdominal, and vaginal with both native-tissue and mesh augmented surgeries.Dr. Husk has a particular interest in medical education and completed a Master of Education in the Health Professions program which included a focused track in education research. She has significant experience with curriculum development, accreditation, evaluation, feedback, and assessment, and didactic education. She has also held roles with an education focus at both institutional and national levels. Her primary areas of interest for clinical research include patient experience and knowledge, patient counseling, patient outcomes, and medical education research, involving research related to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.She completed her undergraduate education at Brown University (Providence, RI), medical school at New York University School of Medicine (New York, NY), Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Thomas Jefferson University (Philadelphia, PA), and Urogynecology fellowship at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). She additionally completed a Master of Education in the Health Professions through Johns Hopkins University. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urogynecology. Dr. Husk joined Weill Cornell Medicine in 2023 as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prior to joining Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Husk worked in the division of Urogynecology at Albany Medical Center.
