Biography: Dr. Kristin Chabarria is an obstetrician-gynecologist providing OB/GYN care with Houston Women's Care Associates (HWCA) in Houston, TX. Dr. Chabarria is a Louisiana native, completing both a masters in cell and molecular biology at Tulane University and medical school at Louisiana State University. She moved to Houston after medical school and completed her residency training at Baylor. Post-residency, Dr. Chabarria worked in another practice here in Houston prior to starting with Houston Women's Care Associates in 2019. Dr. Chabarria approaches patient care as a team effort. One of her greatest passions is patient education, for when provided with all information the doctor and the patient can make a team decision about best courses of treatment care. She enjoys the privilege of guiding her patients through some of the most vulnerable and exciting times of their lives onset of menarche, sexual exploration transitioning into adulthood, family planning, pregnancy, menopause and beyond. She truly enjoys the life-long relationships that are fostered between patient and doctor in the field of OBGYN. Her special interests include: family planning and reproductive health, minimally invasive surgery, abnormal uterine bleeding, cervical dysplasia, and preventative services. Dr. Chabarria sees patients at our main Fannin office as well as our Heights and Cypress locations. She works closely with her nurse practitioner Anna Laura Clark to provide evidence-based, compassionate care for her patients. Dr. Chabarria is well recognized in the community and has been voted by Houstonia Magazine in the Top Doctors OB/GYN list for 2023 and 2024. Personally, she lives in Houston with her husband Ryan and her two daughters. Care Philosophy: Respectful and empathetic, Dr. Kent treats his patients as if they were his family and in the same way that he was treated as a urology patient. ``When I was 7 years old, I had bladder and kidney surgery. The urologist was very kind to me when I was scared. I take that into consideration with my patients and I'm very calm and caring to them because I have been in their shoes before,`` said Dr. Kent. Dr. Kent expresses many rewarding factors with practicing urology, but the most important outcome in his eyes is making a difference in his patients' lives and seeing them enjoy things they were never able to do before.

Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Latasha Steele, M.D. is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr Steele practices at Bella Obstetrics and Gynecology. She delivers infants and performs surgeries at The Woman's Hospital of Texas.Dr. Steele grew up in a small town in Oklahoma and became a highly touted track and field high school athlete. While earning a coveted track scholarship to the University of Notre Dame, she received honorary distinctions as a scholar-athlete & monogram award winner. She then graduated with a degree in psychology and pre-professional studies.Dr. Steele received her 2009 medical degree from the University of Kansas. She became interested in obstetrics while working in a birth center community health project and helped coordinate health supply drives for low-income women.In 2013, Dr. Steele completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas at Houston, where she graciously served as Administrative Chief Resident.She is a member of the North American Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG).Dr. Steele and her husband, a retired Captain in the United States Army, have made Houston their permanent home.Dr. Steele is very passionate about women's health care and she strives to maintain long-term relationships with all of her patients.Dr. Steele is most interested in preventative obstetric and gynecologic medicine, adolescent gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, and health-related fitness.Dr. Steele is also interested in being a leader for women's health care on both the national level and in her community, as this has been reflected in her serving in a multitude of committees and high leadership positions over the past several years. In her spare time, Dr. Steele loves traveling, reading, boating, cycling, and spending time with her family.
