Care Philosophy: John Hatheway, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pain management specialist who cares for patients age 18 and older. Dr. Hatheway offers a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of patients with chronic pain, with an emphasis on formulating an individualized plan of care based on the patient's history, physical exam and imaging studies. He utilizes many minimally invasive interventional pain procedures to treat chronic pain. Dr. Hatheway is a member of the North American Neuromodulation Society, and American Society of Pain and Neuroscience. He has been engaged in clinical research and has authored many scientific articles on pain medicine. Away from work, Dr. Hatheway enjoys flyfishing, boating, hunting and traveling.

Biography: Joanna Branstetter, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in state-of-the-art hand, wrist, shoulder and knee preservation care. Dr. Branstetter had a 20-year career in the United States Army and has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon locally at Joint Base Lewis-McChord for the past 14 years. She recognizes that every patient and injury is unique, and designing a treatment specific to the individual is key to successful outcomes. She works with the patient and their care team to develop the best comprehensive, mutually agreeable plan. This may involve both surgical and non-surgical options like physical therapy, stretching, bracing, medications, injections, arthroscopy, surgical reconstruction and joint replacement.Dr. Branstetter is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons, Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society and the Washington State Orthopaedic Association. Biography: John Roberts, MD, is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in movement disorders such as Parkinson's Disease, essential tremor, dystonia, spasmodic torticollis, Huntington's Disease, Tourette's Syndrome, tic disorders, progressive supranuclear palsy, multiple systems atrophy and Shy-Drager Syndrome. He also has expertise in the administration of botulinum toxin injections for dystonia and other movement disorders.In neurology, many disorders can be diagnosed simply by understanding a patient's story, which is why Dr. Roberts emphasizes listening to each patient and talking with them in a way they can understand. He enjoys helping his patients overcome difficulties and heal.Away from work, Dr. Roberts enjoys cycling and skiing.
