Biography: Ann Holloway, DO, FACS, is a board-certified General Surgeon from Phoenix, AZ with 9 years of experience. Dr. Holloway enjoys the challenges each patient presents and works in a collaborative fashion to craft a customized treatment plan. She always treats her patients and colleagues the way she would like to be treated with kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail. Biography: Mazvita Simoyi, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon. Born in Zimbabwe, she received advanced education in the United States from the age of 17. Following in the footsteps of her father, a general practitioner, she aspired to be a doctor from early childhood. After observing her father perform surgical operations her interest in surgery was sparked.She first earned a nursing degree, with high honors, at Howard University in Washington, D.C, then worked for several years as a hospital nurse while preparing for medical school. She assumed additional healthcare roles during her first two years of medical school at the University of Virginia, by working as a medical-surgical and hospice nurse.She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts. Following this, she successfully completed a minimally invasive colorectal surgery fellowship in Orlando.
