Dr. Smith is a hand and upper extremity surgeon working at Texas Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine. He is originally from Conroe and attended Conroe High School. Dr. Smith graduated from the University of Oklahoma with honors and then received his medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine, graduating with highest honors and was granted admission into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He received his orthopaedic training at Scott & White Hospital and continued with advanced fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at The University of Chicago. During his training, he worked directly under Dr. Daniel Mass, one of the world's leading experts in tendon injury and upper extremity surgery. He returned to the Tomball/Woodlands area after being an associate professor of upper extremity surgery at Scott & White Hospital. There he instructed residents and young surgeons on the latest techniques and trauma care for upper extremity injuries. Throughout his career, he has learned, performed and researched the most advanced, cutting-edge techniques in hand and upper extremity care providing care for several Major League Baseball teams and serving as one of the team physicians for the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks. Currently, he takes care of the entire spectrum of upper extremity injuries and enjoys the multidisciplinary approach of orthopedic treatment at Texas Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine. He continues to be very active in the community and assists in athletic coverage for several local high schools and organizations: Cypress-Creek, Dekaney, Klein, Klein Forest, Klein Collins, Waller, Magnolia, Magnolia West, and Tomball high schools. Biography: Since graduating from Klein High School and the University of St Thomas (UST) in Houston, Dr. Peer completed both medical school and his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston. He then received his fellowship training in rheumatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas. He is certified in both rheumatology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). Dr. Peer enjoys treating patients with all forms of arthritis and connective tissue disorders. He has a special interest in performing musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided injections to relieve pain and discomfort. He has also taught rheumatology to medical students as a volunteer preceptor and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at his alma mater, the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Dr. Peer is a fellow of the American of College of Rheumatology (ACR) and the American College of Physicians (ACP), along with being a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), Texas Medical Association (TMA) and Harris County Medical Society (HCMS). When not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, reading, watching movies and playing tennis.

Biography: Dr. Zara Siddiqui is a board certified Family Medicine Physician. She was class valedictorian after which she attended University of Tulsa where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology Cum Laude. Dr. Siddiqui received her medical doctorate from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and then trained as a resident at University of Tennessee.
