Biography: Dr. Fahl Arthroscopy & Sports Medicine Surgeon Dr. Fahl is an arthroscopy and sports medicine surgeon with a focus on shoulder and knee injuries. He has cared for patients and athletes of all ages and levels of activity during his career. You may see him on the sidelines at one of the area high school football games but his experience has included caring for professional athletes as well, such as the Houston Rockets and Astros. Dr. Fahl achieves his greatest satisfaction when his patients' return back to their pre-injury level of activity. His practice includes surgical and non-surgical treatment of shoulder and knee injuries. He has extensive experience in shoulder SLAP repairs, Bankart repairs, and rotator cuff repairs. He also has extensive experience in knee ACL reconstructions, meniscal surgery, and complicated cartilage and ligament reconstructive cases. Other orthopedic surgeon colleagues in the area routinely refer difficult shoulder and knee surgical procedures to Dr. Fahl for his surgical expertise. Biography: Keith Kerr, M.D., is a board-certified Neurological Surgeon based in Cypress, Texas with HCA Houston Brain & Spine. Dr. Kerr grew up locally in Spring, Texas, attending Klein Collins High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin prior to earning his Doctorate of Medicine at The University of Texas McGovern Medical School. He stayed at McGovern Medical School to complete a neurosurgery residency at the affiliated Memorial Hermann Hospital Texas Medical Center.HCA Healthcare's core mission is something Dr. Kerr has taken to heart: Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life. He believes this is best accomplished by treating patients like family members. His drive to go into neurosurgery came from a desire to be there for patients and their families during their most trying times. Biography: Board certified and practices general orthopaedics with special interest in fracture management, arthroscopy, cartilage preservation and joint replacement. He has extensive experience in sports medicine, having completed a Fellowship in the discipline at Methodist Hospital in Houston, where he trained in advanced open and arthroscopic techniques for knee, shoulder, elbow and hip. He has worked as an assistant team physician to several professional teams in Houston: the Texans, Astros, Rockets and Dynamo, as well as for Rice University and HISD.In addition to his work with professional athletes, Dr. Lin has knowledge and expertise with orthopaedic injuries sustained by military personnel. During his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, he was awarded commendation for research he conducted on those injuries sustained during Operation Enduring Freedom, which was published and presented at national meetings. Following residency, Dr. Lin served as an orthopaedic surgeon and Chief, Department of Surgery at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, which served the active duty, dependent and retiree population in and around Fort Polk, Louisiana (home of the Joint Readiness Training Center). He was also deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 31st Combat Support Hospital in 2007.Dr. Lin was born in Taiwan and raised in West Windsor, New Jersey.
