Biography: Anna S. Nordvig, M.D. specializes in cognitive disorders of the brain. She is a board-certified neurologist at the NY Presbyterian/ Weill Cornell Memory Disorders Program. She completed a fellowship in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry in the Division of Aging and Dementia at the Neurological Institute at Columbia University Medical Center. Biography: Dr. Emy grew up in the Bronx. He studied History and Literature at Harvard College and received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed residency training at Montefiore Medical Center. Following several itinerant years of locum tenens assignments, he realized that there truly is no place like home and returned to New York City, where he practices general internal medicine. He feels it is important to treat and understand the whole person on the basis of the best available evidence and takes interest in all areas of internal medicine.

Biography: Saad Abdul Sami Mir, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in Clinical Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College and Assistant Attending Neurologist at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He received his B.A. from Duke University and M.D. from University of Florida College of Medicine where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha and the Gold Humanism Society. He was also chosen as a Doris Duke Clinical Research Scholar which he completed at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed his internship at Massachusetts's General Hospital, neurology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital, and vascular neurology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Mir is board certified in Neurology and Psychiatry and is an expert in vascular and inpatient neurology. He was also chosen as a LEAD Fellow at New York Presbyterian Hospital where he will focus on becoming a leader in patient experience and patient reported outcomes.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Shrivastava specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skull base tumors, meningiomas and pituitary tumors. He has sub-specialty fellowship training in complex skull base surgery that entails the use of minimally invasive technologies. These consist of endoscopic, 3D and stereotactic navigation in order to safely remove difficult and ``hard-to-reach`` brain tumors. Dr. Shrivastava believes that patient-centered care, good clinical outcome and personalized treatment come first.

Biography: Dr. Robert J. Strauch is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of hand, wrist, and elbow problems in adults and children. He has a special interest in nerve problems of the upper extremity, including carpal tunnel syndrome, and in treating congenital hand disorders. The specialty of hand surgery melds together elements and principles of orthopedic, plastic, neurological and vascular surgery to restore and maximize hand and upper extremity function, whether wielding a jackhammer, throwing a baseball, or playing the violin. Dr. Strauch has authored and co-authored numerous articles in the field of hand surgery and is actively engaged in basic and clinical research. He served as President of the New York Society for Surgery of the Hand in 2006-2007. Dr. Strauch has been included in the list of New York Magazine's and "Best Doctors in New York" in addition to being regularly listed in America's Top Doctors. He is also an accomplished amateur magician and has been known to entertain as well as to diagnose and treat his patients. Biography: Dr. Marcus's training in neurology began during his undergraduate years at Duke University, where he majored in psychology with a concentration in neuroscience. He attended medical school in his hometown at the University of Miami, where he graduated with research distinction for his work in the field of vascular neurology. He then completed internal medicine internship and neurology residency at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, followed by a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology with an emphasis in epilepsy at Yale New Haven Medical Center. Since completing his training, Dr. Marcus has worked in teams focused on general neurology, epilepsy, vascular neurology, and autoimmune neurology. He is board-certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and epilepsy, and he is a member of the American Academy of Neurology.

Biography: Dr. Stracher is a graduate of Amherst College and received his M.D. degree in 1990 from State University of New York Health Science Center. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in 1993 and then a fellowship in Infectious Disease in 1995 at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.
