Biography: Molly Shields, M.D., was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity University, San Antonio, then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2013.Dr. Shields provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care including routine and high risk prenatal care, well-woman exams and preventative care, contraceptive counseling and management, minimally invasive surgery and management of abnormal bleeding and menopausal symptoms. She delivers her patients at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital.Dr. Shields lives with her husband and two young sons. Her hobbies include photography, scuba diving and cooking for her family and friends.

Care Philosophy: Respectful and empathetic, Dr. Kent treats his patients as if they were his family and in the same way that he was treated as a urology patient. ``When I was 7 years old, I had bladder and kidney surgery. The urologist was very kind to me when I was scared. I take that into consideration with my patients and I'm very calm and caring to them because I have been in their shoes before,`` said Dr. Kent. Dr. Kent expresses many rewarding factors with practicing urology, but the most important outcome in his eyes is making a difference in his patients' lives and seeing them enjoy things they were never able to do before.
