Always a stellar student, Dr. Cavazos initially earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Stanford University, where she received highest honors for Academic Achievement. After receiving her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2013, she went on to complete a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health in Houston, Texas. Dr. Cavazos quickly became a well-regarded resident at Parkland Hospital, a prestigious OB/GYN training program in the United States, before winning the residency award for Excellence in Pediatric Gynecology. Since joining the tight-knit family practice, she has been a junior fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as a member of the American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Ramos-Gonzales received her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University before receiving her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She completed her residency training at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso. Dr. Ramos-Gonzales is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of The Bexar County Medical Society. Dr. Ramos-Gonzales is married and has three children.
