Biography: Dr. James Lee is an internationally recognized endocrine surgeon who specializes in the care of patients with thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disorders. Dr. Lee is the Chief of Endocrine Surgery and the Edwin K. and Anne C. Weisskopf Professor of Surgical Oncology at Columbia University and the Physician Director of the Endocrine Service Line at the NY Presbyterian Hospital. He serves as Co-Director of the multidisciplinary Columbia Thyroid Center, Parathyroid Center, and Adrenal Center. He has been rated as one of the Best Doctors in America and is one of the highest volume endocrine surgeons in the country. Dr. Lee received his medical degree from Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed his residency in General Surgery at Columbia and went on to a fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Lee is actively involved in the leadership of Endocrine Surgery at the national and international level. Dr. Lee has given over 100 invited lectures and visiting professorships at institutions around the world. He has travelled extensively to teach other endocrine surgeons advanced techniques such as minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery as well as laparoscopic retroperitoneal adrenalectomy. He has mentored dozens of clinical and research fellows over his career, many of whom are now leaders in their own institutions and abroad. Dr. Lee also serves as the Vice Chair of New Media in the Columbia University Department of Surgery and Chair of the ColumbiaDoctors Communications Committee. Biography: Nicole Lamanna, MD, is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Hematologic Malignancies Section of the Hematology/Oncology Division. Dr. Lamanna is a hematologist/oncologist whose research interests include lymphoid leukemias, specifically chronic lymphocytic leukemia. She is an experienced clinical investigator and her research focus has been the development of combination therapies that include chemoimmunotherapy, immunomodulatory drugs, novel kinase inhibitors and monoclonal antibodies. She also is working to find active, safer therapies for older patients with these diseases. She earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Biography: Dr. Stein is an Associate Professor of Medical Oncology at Columbia University Medical Center. He is a recognized expert in field of genitourinary oncology treating patients with prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancers. He is also a member of the Experimental Therapeutics program, investigating novel therapies across all solid tumors. In addition to providing standard therapies for the treatment of genitourinary cancers such as hormonal therapy, molecularly targeted therapy and chemotherapy, Dr. Stein leads multiple investigator initiated and industry sponsored clinical trials. Dr. Stein has a particular interest in the development of novel immune therapies for the treatment of prostate cancer, both in men with early recurrence of prostate cancer as well as in men with more advanced prostate cancer. He is also helping to lead two national trials in kidney cancer sponsored by the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Stein received his B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University. He earned his medical degree at New York Medical College, receiving the graduation award in oncology for his published research. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, and a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Prior to joining Columbia University, Dr. Stein practiced genitourinary oncology for 13 years at Rutgers University and has been an author on over 60 publications including guidelines for assessing the efficacy of new drugs in prostate cancer and recommendations for the use of immunotherapy to treat prostate cancer.

He stayed at New York University for a dermatopathology fellowship until 1995. Dr Lee is a Diplomate of American Board of Dermatology for Dermatology and American Board of Pathology for Dermatopathology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Biography: Dr. Payne is the Herbert and Florence Irving Professor and Chair of Dermatology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She received her BS degree in Biology from Stanford University and an MD/PhD degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Washington University School of Medicine, followed by dermatology residency and postdoctoral fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Payne is the 2024-2025 President of the Society for Investigative Dermatology and is a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation, NIH/NIAMS Advisory Council, and International Pemphigus and Pemphigoid Foundation Medical Advisory Council. Biography: Dr. Ingham is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at New York University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed fellowship training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center where he served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Ingham specializes in the care of patients with sarcoma and gastrointestinal cancers and is also an active member of the experimental therapeutics unit. His research focuses on the development and clinical evaluation of new treatments for patients with sarcoma. He leads a National Cancer Institute (NCI) sponsored clinical trial evaluating a new treatment approach for uterine leiomyosarcoma based on research conducted at Columbia University. He also leads several other investigator-initiated clinical trials evaluating new targeted and immunotherapy based treatment approaches for leiomyosarcoma, liposarcoma and other types of sarcoma. He is the author of two recent authoritative reviews on the treatment of sarcoma published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. He is the recipient of the 2019 Conquer Cancer Foundation of ASCO Career Development Award from the Sarcoma Foundation of America in recognition of his research and was also named a 2019 NextGen Innovator by HemOnc Today, among other awards and honors. Biography: Rajshekhar Chakraborty, MD is an assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the division of hematology/oncology. After receiving his medical degree from University of Delhi, India, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai-Queens Hospital Center. Subsequently, he spent three years as a clinical researcher in plasma cell disorders at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, followed by fellowship in hematology/oncology at the Cleveland Clinic. During fellowship, he conducted outcomes research with a focus on quality of life and treatment-related toxicities in plasma cell disorders. After fellowship, he started his job as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis Program at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Chakraborty cares primarily for patients with plasma cells disorders, including multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, MGUS, POEMS syndrome, and Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia. His research interests include clinical trials and outcomes research in plasma cell disorders.

Biography: Dr. Joseph Jurcic is a Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center and the Director of the Hematologic Malignancies Section within the Division of Hematology/Oncology. He specializes in Medical Oncology and focuses on leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, and myeloproliferative disorders. Based in New York, NY, Dr. Jurcic is affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He received his M.D. from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his training at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is board-certified in both Medical Oncology and Hematology.Dr. Jurcic's clinical expertise includes the treatment of acute and chronic leukemias, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and myelodysplastic syndromes. His research interests encompass acute myeloid leukemia, radioimmunotherapy with alpha and beta particle-emitting radioisotopes, monoclonal antibody therapy, developing novel small molecule inhibitors, and molecular monitoring of minimal residual disease.
