Biography: Dr. Greenleaf was born and raised in rural Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Dr. Greenleaf obtained a degree in Biology at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, where he was also a First Team All-Ivy League and Honorable Mention National All-American in wrestling. He went on to receive his medical degree with honors from Drexel University College of Medicine and then completed his residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Finally, Dr. Greenleaf completed his Fellowship training in Spine Surgery at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. Training at an internationally renowned facility afforded Dr. Greenleaf exposure to the diagnosis and care of complex spinal conditions, particularly in degenerative conditions, adult deformity and spinal tumors. He also received training in cutting-edge minimally invasive techniques both at Harvard facilities and with the Neurosurgeons of Cape Cod group located in Cape Cod, MA. While in Pittsburgh and Boston, Dr. Greenleaf has performed research, authored textbook chapters, and presented at national meetings on various topics ranging from bacterial MRSA biofilms and Sports Hernia surgery to minimally invasive fixation of spine fractures and embolization of metastatic spine tumors.

Biography: Dr. Matthew Pepe is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in Sports Medicine, particularly, shoulder, knee, and elbow reconstruction. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and went on to complete his fellowship in both Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Pepe is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and is on staff at Virtua Voorhees and Atlanticare Regional Medical Center. Dr. Pepe is one of the Team Orthopaedic Surgeons for the Philadelphia Eagles, as well as Stockton College. Biography: Dr. Daniel is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson Medical College and is the Residency Program Director of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rowan University. He completed Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and Fellowship Training in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Daniel has written numerous peer reviewed scientific papers, and several book chapters and has presented his research nationally and internationally on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the foot and ankle. He is currently involved in the development and design of specific implants for patients with deformity related to diabetes mellitus and trauma. He draws on his experience in the management of all aspects of foot and ankle surgery to include deformity correction, sports injuries, arthroscopy, reconstruction, fracture management, arthritis, neuromuscular conditions (to include stroke and cerebral palsy) and ankle replacement surgery. Dr. Daniel is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, where he serves as a member on two national committees. Dr. Daniel proudly served his country on active duty for 20 years and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army.

Biography: Dr. Salvo is double board certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and specializes in knee ligament (ACL) reconstructions, shoulder instability, rotator cuff repairs, and hip arthroscopy. As Director of the Hip Arthroscopy program at Rothman Institute, Dr. Salvo serves as one of the region’s leaders in hip arthroscopy, particularly in athletes. He is an assistant team physician for the Philadelphia Flyers and a consultant for the Philadelphia Phillies. He is an active member of several subspecialty societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy.

Biography: Dr. Schoifet's team approach to total joint surgery has developed into one of the largest and most successful joint replacement programs in the tri-state area. Dr. Schoifet has been appointed Medical Director for Joint Replacement Services throughout the Virtua Health Systems. He is an instructor for Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) for Partial and Total Knee Replacements, both nationally and internationally. He is one of the leading proponents of outpatient Total Knee Replacement in the United States. He currently teaches and trains orthopedic surgeons throughout the country and abroad. Biography: Dr. Porat, a native Philadelphian, graduated from Cornell University with Honors prior to attending Temple University Medical School. He was inducted into the AOA Medical Honor Society at Temple and subsequently completed an Orthopaedic Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. While in residency, he was selected to attend the annual AOA-OREF forum for upcoming leaders in the field of orthopedic surgery. He completed a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction (i.e.; Joint Replacement) at The Rothman Institute/Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He has written several peer-reviewed journal articles in hip and knee replacement and has co-authored several book chapters. Dr. Porat treats hip and knee pathology in adolescents and adults including revision reconstruction, complex joint reconstruction as well as non-operative hip and knee disorders.
