Biography: Dr. Romberg grew up in the suburbs of San Diego, CA. She earned her bachelor's degree withsumma cum laude honors from the University of California at San Diego. She attended bothgraduate and medical school at UT Southwestern, where she earned both her master's degree ingenetics and her medical degree. She then went on to complete her residency in obstetrics andgynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas in June 2005. Shortly thereafter, shejoined the excellent physicians at Women's Health Alliance.Dr. Romberg has been board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2007. She earnednumerous awards throughout her education including the DFW OB/GYN society award foroutstanding medical student and the W.K. Strother award for excellence in clinical and academicachievement during residency. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics andGynecology and belongs to the AMA, TMA, and the Dallas County Medical Society.Dr. Romberg cares for women through all stages of life, from the teenage years throughchildbearing and midlife into menopause, including hormone therapy. She is skilled atperforming minimally-invasive laparoscopy with the DaVinci robotic platform, such ashysterectomy, cystectomy, endometriosis resection, and salpingectomies for sterilization. Sheenjoys delivering babies, both routine and high-risk pregnancies. Biography: Yetunde Awosemusi, M.D., is an OBGYN physician at Women's Health of Las Colinas, located on the campus of Medical City Las Colinas, where she provides obstetric and gynecologic care to people of all ages.Dr. Awosemusi earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago. There, she served as Academic Chief Resident and helped organize the learning and educational goals for her fellow residents. She achieved board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2018 and is currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas.Prior to joining Women's Health of Las Colinas, Dr. Awosemusi was an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. During her time at UT Southwestern, she taught medical students and residents, served as course director for a medical student course, spearheaded several quality improvement projects that improved patient care and actively participated in several quality and safety committees. In 2022, she was selected as the faculty senator to represent the department of OB/GYN at the UT Southwestern Faculty Senate.Dr. Awosemusi has delivered a variety of presentations and published several academic articles. She also has research experience in topics such as maternal obesity and the risk of preeclampsia, techniques for improving breastfeeding initiation and continuation in underserved populations. She has presented her research at national medical conferences. Her clinical interests include low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, management of fibroids, addressing abnormal periods through medication and minimally invasive surgery, and most importantly providing patient centered care. In recognition of her excellent care, she received the North Texas Child Mom-Approved OB/GYNs & Midwives award in 2020. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.Originally from Nigeria, Dr. Awosemusi moved to the United States as a teenager, giving her a unique ability to understand people from diverse backgrounds. She currently lives in Las Colinas, a suburb of Irving, Texas where she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.

Biography: Dr. Valenti is a native of Buffalo, NY and has lived in North Texas since 1998. He has twin boys, Oliver and Nicolas. Dr. Valenti attended medical school at State University of New York at Buffalo where he graduated with Honors, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Prior to medical school he worked on a Master's degree in Immunology while conducting cancer research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.Dr. Valenti is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His appointments include Past President of the Denton County Medical Society, twice past Chairman of the OB/GYN Department of Denton Regional Medical Center, past Chief of Staff of North Texas Hospital, and Immediate Past Chairman of the Council on Socioeconomics for the Texas Medical Association. He holds a seat on the Board of Directors of The Texas Medical Association, The Physician Foundation and Lone Star AllianceDr. Valenti is a robotic trained minimally-invasive gynecologic surgeon and national proctor, specializing in endometriosis, advanced pelvic and reconstructive surgery. He is a COEMIG (Center of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Gynecology) accredited Surgeon as well.Dr. Valenti enjoys working with the non-profit Physicians Foundation to promote Poverty as a social determinant of healthcare. He also enjoys playing with his dogs and working on his vintage Mercury Cougars.

Biography: Dr. Myears loves making personal connections with her patients and looks forward to taking care of women throughout all stages of life, from contraceptive counseling to pregnancy to the menopausal transition. She feels lucky that women trust her with their health journey and prioritizes shared decision making when forming management plans. She has a special interest in adolescent contraceptive management, both high and low risk pregnancies, addressing modifiable risk factors for cancer, and PCOS. She performs in office procedures such as biopsies, long acting reversible contraceptives, hysteroscopy, and LEEP, as well as robotic myomectomies, endometriosis procedures, and hysterectomies in the hospital.Dr. Myears was raised in Springfield, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri summa cum laude and then moved to Dallas to attend UT Southwestern for medical school. She stayed in Dallas for residency at Parkland Hospital, one of the highest volume obstetric hospitals in the nation. She served as chief resident and won several teaching awards from the medical students and residents. In her free time, she enjoys reading and listening to audiobooks, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and the two best boys in the whole world.

Biography: Dr. Kurian grew up in San Antonio, Texas. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She then graduated from Texas A&M University College of Medicine with honors, and completed her residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. At Vanderbilt, Dr. Kurian was elected as chief resident and was voted one of 2004 Berlex Laboratories Best Second-year Teaching Residents. She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, completed in December 2008. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.Dr. Kurian has a special interest in routine and high-risk obstetrics, annual gynecologic exams, abnormal Pap smear evaluations, contraception, and gynecologic surgery. She enjoys caring for women of all ages, and can help her patients from puberty to peri-menopause.She is certified in Da Vinci minimally invasive robotic surgery and can perform many in-office procedures, including endometrial ablations, diagnostic hysteroscopy, and excision procedures for cervical dysplasia.She and her husband are the proud parents to two boys, Noah and Lucas. She also has a rescue dog, Julius Erving, who has stolen her heart.

Biography: Dr. Popov is a native of New Jersey. She is Board Certified and a Fellow of the America College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Popov completed her internship in 1997 and residency in 2000, both at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA in Obstetrics and Gynecology. At graduation, she received the Resident Teacher of the Year Award. She received a Master's of Business Administration in 2012 from the University of Massachusetts. She served as past president of Denton County Medical Society and past Credentials Chairman at North Texas Hospital and was a member of the Council on Socio-economics for Texas Medical Association. She is trained as a robotic surgeon and has been doing robotic surgery since 2007. She is also trained to perform VNOTES (vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery) hysterectomies. Her current interests include minimally-invasive surgery, menopausal management, and hereditary cancer screening. Her outside interests include travel, film festivals, animal rights issues, pursuing a healthy vegan lifestyle, and trying new endeavors. She and husband, Kevin Kirchner, have eight (down from thirteen) feline "children" and she loves getting candid shots of wild animals on her multiple critter cams.
