Care Philosophy: Dr Ruba Alafifi grew up in Houston and attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate education. She completed medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas and OB/GYN residency training at Albany Medical Center. Prior to medical school, she spent time working with refugees in Southwest Houston. She is passionate about delivering high quality, sustainable care while building connections with her patients. Her areas of interest include minimally invasive surgery, gynecologic ultrasound, women&rsquos health policy, and quality improvement. Outside of work, she enjoys interior design, travel, photography, and spending time with her family, friends, and cat.

Care Philosophy: The Bridge Clinic will see all newborns regardless of insurance for their first month. We will provide the medical care your baby needs and provide education to the parents to help ease the transition into parenthood. We will work with the parents to help them find and transition to an excellent PCP.
