Biography: Dr. Blank graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. She completed her medical internship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She returned to Weill Cornell Medical College for her dermatology residency, where she served as chief resident during her final year and received a Distinguished Housestaff Award for all-around excellence. Dr. Blank sees adult patients for general dermatologic concerns and has particular clinical interests in complex medical dermatology, cutaneous drug reactions and infections, and cutaneous manifestations of internal disease. Dr. Blank also serves as a dermatology inpatient consultant at both NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell and NewYork-Presbyterian - Lower Manhattan Hospital.

Biography: Stuart Leitner, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist and Section Chief of Medical Oncology for the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center's Department of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Leitner completed his residency at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX and a medical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York. Dr. Leitner is very interested in clinical research. He has published numerous abstracts and journal articles and has presented research on breast cancer at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the New York Metropolitan Breast Cancer Group, and has chaired sessions at the Annual Retreat on Cancer Research in New Jersey. He has been a reviewer for articles on breast and genitourinary cancer for Cancer, the official journal of the American Cancer Society. Dr. Leitner is a member of the New York Metropolitan Breast Cancer Group, American Society of Breast Disease and the New Jersey Commission on Cancer Prostate Research Advisory Group. He is the recipient of numerous awards and honors including being recognized in Best Doctors in America; included in the Consumers' Research Council of America's Guide to America's Top Physicians; named as a Top Doc in NJ Monthly and Inside Jersey magazines; recipient of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Excellence in Caring; and an American Cancer Society Diamond Ball Honoree. In 2011, Dr. Leitner received the Arnold Gold Foundation Award for ``skill, sensitivity, caring and compassion in the practice of medicine``.

Care Philosophy: My practice focuses on treating gastrointestinal malignancies, including colorectal, pancreatic, stomach, biliary, neuroendocrine, and liver cancers. I place great value on having strong physician-patient relationships and feel this is especially important in cancer care. I not only provide state-of-the art cancer treatment for my patients and their families, but comprehensive support through a compassionate and multidisciplinary approach. Through clinical research, I am able to offer my patients access to the latest therapies such as radiolabeled monoclonal antibodies, cancer "vaccines," immunotherapy, and other novel targeted agents. At Weill Cornell Medicine and New York-Presbyterian Hospital, we utilize a bench to bedside approach and are committed to bringing the most promising new treatments out of the lab and directly to patients often years before they are widely available elsewhere

Biography: Dr. Lipner is an Associate Professor of Clinical Dermatology, Associate Attending Physician, and Director of the Nail Division at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She completed her undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Lipner completed her medical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she received both M.D. and Ph.D degrees and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her residency training in Dermatology at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.Dr. Lipner is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women's Dermatologic Society, and Council for Nail Disorders, American Dermatologic Association, and is chair of multiple committees. She is also past President of The Dermatologic Society of Greater New York, President of the New York State Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, and Founding Editor in Chief of JAAD Reviews.Dr. Lipner is board certified in Dermatology and has a wide range of clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of skin, hair, and nail disorders. She is one of the few experts in nail disorders in the world, and treats patients with nail psoriasis, nail fungal diseases, brittle nails, and nail cancers. She is also the Primary Investigator on clinical trials utilizing novel treatments for nail disorders, and offers alternative treatments to patients who have failed traditional therapies. She is also an expert in telemedicine and can diagnosis many patients with nail disorders using a video platform.Dr. Lipner is one of the leading researchers in dermatology. She has authored over 400 peer-reviewed publications, numerous books and book chapters, lectures nationally and internationally, and is frequently featured by the media including, CNN, NPR, Self, Allure, The Washington Post, and The New York Times for her expertise. Dr. Lipner offers aesthetic therapies such as Botox and injectable fillers, laser therapy for the treatment of rosacea, broken blood vessels, age spots and hair removal in both fair-skinned patients and patients with skin of color.
