Biography: Dr. Miran Salgado is a movement disorder specialist, the Chief of NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, and the Medical Director of the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) Information and Referral Center. He graduated from the Medical College of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and completed residency training in internal medicine. In the U.S., he completed his neurology residency training at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center where he was Chief Resident. He also completed his fellowship in Movement Disorders at the Neurological Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, and is board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology.

Biography: Nasser Ayyad, D.O., is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College who is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and fellowship trained in Interventional Spine and Sports medicine. He specializes in treating a variety of pain conditions, including neck and back pain as well as musculoskeletal conditions such asmuscle, joint, and tendon pain. His philosophy centers on treating "the whole patient," not just the symptoms, by listening and evaluating patients to develop individualized treatment plans to facilitate recovery and prevent re-injury.Dr. Ayyad is fluent in Spanish and his clinical interests include using exercise, physical therapy, and integrative medicine practices to treat musculoskeletal pain, as well as mindbody therapies in the perception of pain and healing. In addition, Dr. Ayyad performs various minimally invasive treatments that include fluoroscopic guided spine injections, ultrasound-guided joint injections, regenerative medicine, and neuromodulation including spinal cord stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation.Dr. Ayyad earned his medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Southwestern where he served as Chief Resident and earned the Arete Award for altruism. He then underwent advanced training in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine through a North American Spine Society fellowship at Desert Spine and Sports Physicians in Phoenix, Arizona. Biography: Dr. Levine obtained her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She also completed her residency in orthopedic surgery at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center and fellowship in hand surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases. Dr. Levine is board certified in surgery of the hand and orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Levine is a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the New York Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the Brooklyn Orthopaedic Society. Biography: Dr. Linn E. Katus is an assistant professor of neurology in the Movement Disorders and Child Neurology divisions. Dr. Katus obtained her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by medical internship at the University of Cincinnati. She subsequently completed neurology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, followed by fellowship in movement disorders at Mount Sinai Hospital. In addition to seeing adult movement disorder patients, Dr. Katus has a special interest in childhood movement disorders and sees pediatric patients, as well.
