Incompetent
Incompetent and lazy. This guy told me he doen’t need to collect any data at our annual appointment in order to make decisions about my upcoming year of medication. Are you f-cking kidding? This guy is an incompetent gaslighting lazy áss. My advice, find a different doctor.

Poor
Dr. didn't know my name, the visit was incredibly rushed. Had his mind made up the moment he stepped into the room. Didn't listen. Asked only a few questions that were leading. Overall, very condescending attitude. Worst experience I've had with a doctor.

Over the course of several years I met with two orthopedists, two neurologists and rheumatologist. None of them could figure what was causing my issue. Each referred me to a different specialist. But the rheumatologist had a good idea of what was wrong and referred me to Dr. Bhatt, who had the answer. The first four doctors gave me no useful information.

This was one of the worst appointments I have ever had in my life. Dr. Bhatt did not even give me the time of day. He disregarded my illness and neurological problems before we even began the appointment. I traveled 2 hours for this appointment in hopes of answers or at least some insight and help. Instead, he told me I need psychiatric help. That has NOTHING to do with my illness or why I was there. I strongly do NOT recommend this doctor or this facility.

His report to my PCP said my scoliosis & muscle spasms were on the opposite side of my back from where they actually are. No wonder he said 'No way to know what causes the pain.' Said I need 'pain management'; my PCP says no, that's for constant pain not spasms 2-3 times a year. If I email him directly instead of using NYU's MyCharts he said he'd put my mail in the garbage without reading it. I asked about something on my x-ray and he said, loudly, I TOLD YOU TO IGNORE THAT. Really?
