Biography: Sarah Chung, MD, specializes in a variety of rheumatologic disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogren's syndrome, systemic sclerosis, mixed connective tissue disease, inflammatory spondyloarthritis, gout and crystalline arthritis. Dr. Chung enjoys caring for her patients and supporting them through their medical journey. She strives to provide the most current information regarding their rheumatologic condition, and hopes her patients leave each visit with a good understanding of the status of their condition and the rationale behind their therapy plan. She also strives to empower her patients to engage in collaborative decisions regarding their care. Given the multi-organ, systemic impact of many rheumatologic diseases and the therapies used to treat them, Dr. Chung emphasizes a team approach to care involving the patient's primary care provider and other specialists. Dr. Chung is a member of the American College of Physicians and American College of Rheumatology. She holds Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Certification (RhMSUS) from the American College of Rheumatology. She previously served as faculty with the University of Washington Division of Rheumatology. Away from work, Dr. Chung enjoys spending time with her family.

Care Philosophy: Daniela Mehech, MD, is a board-certified physiatrist (physical medicine and rehabilitation physician), with a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. Dr. Mehech enjoys getting her patients of all ages and recreation levels moving and being active. She focuses on musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions, including acute and overuse injuries, as well as osteoarthritis and tendinopathy. Dr. Mehech has a particular interest in using ultrasound not only to diagnose and treat via ultrasound-guided injections and procedures, but also to educate patients on their conditions. She values working in a collaborative environment with both patients and with other medical professionals such as orthopedic surgeons and physical or occupational therapists. Originally from California, Dr. Mehech is happy to call Washington home. Outside of medicine, you can find Dr. Mehech cycling in all forms, swimming, running and spending time outdoors with her family.

Biography: William Callahan, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. He specializes in primary care sports medicine and non-operative orthopedics including care of acute and overuse injuries as well as osteoarthritis, tendinopathy and other degenerative musculoskeletal conditions. He has experience with musculoskeletal ultrasound including selected ultrasound-guided injections and procedures including Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and corticosteroid injection. _x000D_ Dr. Callahan sees himself as a coach, educating and actively involving his patients in their care, and organizing the extended team of providers who may offer additional assistance, such as physical therapists or orthopedic surgeons. _x000D_ Dr. Callahan is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. _x000D_ Outside of medicine he enjoys running, skiing, mountain biking, camping, barbecuing, gardening and spending time with his wife and their two great kids.

Biography: Dr. Venu M. Nemani, MD, PhD is a spinal surgeon at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA. His practices includes both the routine surgical treatment of degenerative spinal conditions, as well as complex spinal reconstructions and revision spinal surgery for scoliosis, kyphosis, spinal tumors, trauma, and infections.
