I discuss the diagnosis and treatment options and do my best to guide patients in choosing the treatments best suited to their individual needs and preferences. My patients leave their outpatient appointments feeling well-informed and involved in the decision- making process regarding their treatment. I attempt to treat all my patients by non-surgical methods initially, and only recommend surgery when this becomes the best option. Whenever surgery does become necessary, I always do my best to operate with great care and thoroughness. Dr. Ponzio has authored numerous journal publications and textbook chapters and actively conducts research in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery. As an avid athlete, enjoying cycling, running, skiing, and yoga, Dr. Ponzio is committed to getting her patients back to active lifestyles. Dr. Ponzio provides guidance through options of non-surgical and surgical care for musculoskeletal conditions affecting the hip or knee. These include degenerative arthritis, inflammatory arthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, avascular necrosis, hip dysplasia, infection, and fracture. Dr. Ponzio also evaluates patients who are having difficulty after a prior hip or knee replacement. She strives to provide each individual patient with highly personalized care.

Biography: Dr. Ryan Channick, MD is a Physical Medicine /amp Rehabilitation Specialist who practices in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. He is 40 years old and has been practicing for 13 years. Dr. Ryan Channick, MD is affiliated with Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Biography: Bradford Schofield Tucker, M.D. is double board certified by the American Board of Orthpaedic Surgery in orthopaedic sports medicine and general orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Tucker is assistant team orthopaedic surgeon for the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia 76ers. He is also the team orthopaedic surgeon for The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and Cumberland County Community College baseball team as well as Ocean City and Absegami High Schools. His clinical interests include the injured athlete, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, knee ligament reconstruction including the ACL, and cartilage restoration procedures. Dr. Tucker is on faculty at Thomas Jefferson University and Stockton College, and is involved in evidence based, peer reviewed orthopaedic research, with multiple publications and book chapters to his credit.
