Biography: Candace Gonzalez, MD is a general surgeon caring for patients in Tallahassee, Florida. Dr. Gonzalez went to the University of Central Florida for her undergraduate degree in microbiology and molecular biology. She went on to complete medical school and residency at the University of South Florida. Dr. Gonzalez finished her 5 year residency as a chief resident. She has participated in several mission trips with the goal of mission work in the future. Dr. Gonzalez has presented her work at local and national meetings including the American College of Surgeons and the Southeastern Surgical Congress and has also published in peer reviewed journals such as The American Surgeon and International Journal of Abdominal Wall and Hernia Surgery. She has written book chapters along with her mentors in the field of upper gastrointestinal surgery and pancreatic malignancies.

Biography: Randall McKissack, M.D., FASC, is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and cares for patients at The White-Wilson General Surgery Clinic in Fort Walton Beach. He has more than 33 years of healthcare experience. Dr. McKissack received his medical degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduating, he completed his residency at Baptist Medical Center also in Birmingham. Dr. McKissack recently relocated to Fort Walton Beach from Panama City and specializes in general surgery, laparoscopy, endoscopy and robotic surgery.
