Initial consultation was great. All questions were answered and I knew what to expect. The doctor and staff were very helpful and pleasant to talk to. My minor surgery was done in the office with zero excess waiting. I showed up for my appointment and I went right in. Doctor Tenniswood explained what was happening and put me at ease. Highly recommend.

We encountered a highly unprofessional and incompetent surgeon during our son's hospitalization, whose behavior was not only arrogant but also disrespectful to our family.Despite our son's severe condition, sustaining complex facial fractures,CSF leaking from his rt.nostril and requiring transfer to a level 1 trauma center, this surgeon seemed entirely unaware of the nature of his injuries &the reasons for his hospitalization. He argued that our son could be discharged for outpt. care for “simple broken nose”,disregarding the complexity of his fractures& need for surgery&specialized treatment. His dismissive attitude extended to our concerns as parents, as he was openly combative in his communication. Furthermore he never once performed a physical examination on our son, underscoring his complete disregard for proper medical protocol&patient care.As medical parents we called&spoke to the pediatric trauma surgeon who graciously accepted transfer due his lack of care or attentiveness.

I was admitted to the hospital through the ER.I had to have 2 procedures.Dr Tenniswood was my General Surgeon.I was taken care of with the most caring Nurses and Doctors in the hospital.Dr Tenniswood and his professional office staff made the post-op process a very pleasant experience. I was blessed to have all of them.Thank you

Hernia Repair - poor outcome. More pain in the region of repair both the day after surgery and well over a year later. An additional incisional hernia at a laparoscopic entry site was found and will need repair.

Dr. Tenniswood performed the surgery to remove a large benign thyroid tumor. From the first consult, throughout the surgery process, to the final visit, he was an outstanding professional. The surgery was a success and I could not have more pleased. Thank you, Doctor!

Dr. Tenniswood and his staff are amazing. I went into his office after being In pain for weeks and he set up my surgery for the very next morning. Dr.Tenniswood really paid attention .He took the time to listen to the history and problems I was having. I felt totally at ease and was made to feel like a human and not a number .

My first visit to Dr. T was great. Personable, professional, explanations were clearly given. I'm sure my future visits will be a great as my first one was.

My son was admitted into West Florida for abdominal paid. Dr. Tenniswood was called in to evaluate him and made the decision to keep him overnight to keep a close eye on him. The following week, he was admitted back into West Florida and luckily, Dr.Tenniswood was called back to see him. The following day, he had an appendectomy with Dr.Tenniswood. The surgery went great and he made sure my son (8 years old) knew what was going to happen. He is a great surgeon!
