Biography: Dr. Kim is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Division of Gynecologic Surgical Services. Dr. Kim graduated from Yale University and earned her medical degree from New York University. Following her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University, she completed an AAGL-accredited fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Chronic Pelvic Pain at the University of Michigan, also earning her Masters in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis. Within these roles, Dr. Shin focused on the education and training of residents, fellows, and faculty in performing safe minimally invasive surgeries.
