Dr. Farr Nezhat, MD

Dr. Nezhat delivered my daughter at NUMC in 1984. I had 4th degree lacerations and he never told me to take colace, I tore all stitches. It was awful.

I can't praise Dr. Nezhat enough. He is a patient listener, an excellent diagnostician and a marvelous surgeon. He is concerned about his patients well being and is a very warm individual.

He’s a fantastic doctor, him along with the female doctor that works with him (I can’t remember her name) she’s very nice, listens to my concerns, and helps me whichever way she can. The receptionist Bridgette is also amazing, and has patience for me anytime I call with a question or concern. Dr Nezhat listened to all my problems I mentioned, and evaluated me . For an uncomfortable, tough situation (pain w or w/o periods) they all are a team, and help me out the best way they can. I’ll recommend

I’m so relieved to have found Dr. Nezhat. He takes a thorough history, and his testing and assessment has provided me excellent care (for four years several doctors were disinterested, dismissive). His staff is friendly, professional. And office clean. I finally am receiving appropriate treatment. He is compassionate and patient, I’m certainly fortunate to be under his care.

Because of Dr Nexhat I have two kids, with stage four endometriosis diagnosed at age 22, he is a miracle doctor. I am now with him for 15 yers and after 6 surgeries with him I thank him and my God every day. His team is amazing as well! Go see h and beilive in miricales of becoming a mother!

Dr Nezhat is an amazing surgeon. I had surgery two weeks ago to remove endometriosis. Right after the surgery I had minimal pain and was able to return to work after a week. I work in a school and walk up and down stairs often and I felt totally fine. The incisions are so light you can barely see them. Not only is he a great surgeon but he is very caring and patient. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Nezhat performed my first laparoscopy. He was dismissive of my pain and told me that I was the hinderence in my recovery. According to him, I ought to have been "skipping back to work" after two weeks. First and only time I've cried out during a pelvic exam-not the first time I was told to be quiet because it "isn't that bad."

Dr. Nezhat is a genious. I am a 64 year old woman who was experiencing post-menopausal abnormal uterine bleeding. I am talking about heavy bleeding and clotting that almost ruined a recent Caribbean vacation. Dr. Nezhat examined me and said I was a candidate for a laparoscopic hysterectomy even though I had large fibroids and an enlarged uterus. Dr. Nezhat and his team successfully performed a completely laparascopic hysterectomy that lasted 5 hours! He removed a 5 lb. fiboid tumor

I have been a patient of Dr. Farr Nezhat's for almost twenty years. After three lap surgeries for endometriosis and one full hysterectomy I can honestly say that Dr. Nezhat is my savior in so many ways! From being the first to acknowledge my pain and do something about it to releasing my today feeling fantastic just five weeks after my hysterectomy, this is the most skilled, experienced, and empathetic doctor and surgeon I have ever met. I will forever be grateful to him!
