Through his 11 years of practice in Urology, Dr. Parra understands the root of exceptional care is treating patients like family. Dr. Parra brings to the Woodlands Medical Specialists a high-energy approach to care that he takes very seriously. His areas of special interest include minimally invasive surgery/laparoscopy, advanced endoscopic surgery and the use of the da Vinci Robotic system. Dr. Parra is one of our experienced robotic surgeons. Dr. Parra, a native of Louisiana, earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School and completed his residency at the Louisiana State Medical Center in Shreveport. Outside the office he enjoys hunting, fishing, SEC sports, community involvement and cherishing time with his family. He is board certified in the practice of urology.
