Biography: Dr. Tiffany Jessee is one of the few fellowship trained bariatric surgeons in the state of Florida, which means she has received highly specialized training in bariatric surgery. She is also a Board Certified General Surgeon. Dr. Jessee is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons and holds the designation of Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. In 2003, she was the first surgeon in Pinellas County, Florida to perform the Adjustable Gastric Band surgery and also performed the first minimally invasive robotic gastric sleeve procedure in Pinellas County. Dr. Jessee was awarded the Top Docs Award in Bariatric Surgery by Tampa Bay Magazine in 2019 and in 2020. Dr Denbo earned his MD degree at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed a General Surgery Residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and a Research Fellowship at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. Dr Denbo received fellowship training in both Complex General Surgical Oncology and Advanced Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Prior to his recruitment to Moffitt, Dr Denbo served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Minnesota.

Care Philosophy: Dr Pimiento earned his MD degree at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He completed a general surgery residency at Saint Mary's Health System/Affiliated Yale University School of Medicine and a Fellowship in Surgical Research in Vascular Surgery at Yale University School of Medicine. He then completed a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology and Advanced Fellowship in Surgical Oncology Research at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Pimiento joined Moffitt from Mercy Health Partners/Mercy Health-St. Mary's and served as the Medical Director, Surgical Oncology at the Lacks Cancer Center. Dr Pimiento's clinical interest is in malignancies of the upper gastrointestinal tract, including esophageal, gastric, pancreatic, colorectal and liver cancers.

Biography: Venkatasubramanian Kanthimathinathan, MD (Venkat), is a board certified general and bariatric surgeon. "Dr. Venkat" as he is known by his patients is deeply committed to the care of all his patients and is honored by the privilege to help them restore their whole health through expert surgical care and uncommon compassion for their well-being. Originally from India, Dr. Venkat attended medical school there before coming to USA for his general surgery residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Following that, he completed his fellowship in minimally invasive bariatric surgery at the University of Missouri Health Care, Columbia, MO. Along with providing his patients with exceptional care, Dr. Venkat is an avid sports and music fan who loves to travel and explore the world, especially the Swiss Alps. He also enjoys playing cricket, ping pong and badminton, and likes to relax with a cup of hot tea. He is fluent in English, Tamil and Kannada.

Care Philosophy: Dr Hodul is a Senior Member and Surgical Oncologist within the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology and Medical Director of Nutrition at Moffitt Cancer Center. She is also a Professor in the Division of Oncologic Sciences through the University of South Florida. Previously she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center. She then went on to complete both a clinical and research fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center in Surgical Oncology. Dr Hodul's clinical practice is focused in the areas of pancreaticobiliary and gastrointestinal surgery.

Care Philosophy: Dr Andrew Sinnamon is a Surgical Oncologist within the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He completed both medical school and General Surgery residency training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. During residency he completed a research fellowship studying outcomes for surgical oncology patients. He also obtained a Masters in Clinical Epidemiology during this time. Dr Sinnamon then completed further fellowship training in Complex General Surgical Oncology at Moffitt, and has since joined the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology. Dr Sinnamon's clinical interests include caring for patients with diseases of the pancreas, stomach, and esophagus.

Biography: Dr. Christian Cruz Pico, MD is a Complex General Surgical Oncology Specialist who practices in Tampa, FL. He is 45 years old and has been practicing for 22 years. Dr. Christian Cruz Pico, MD is affiliated with Tampa General Hospital and Tampa General Hospital.

Biography: Dr. Bogdana Trop is board certified in both general surgery and surgical critical care. She received training at University of Belgrade Medical School and completed her general surgery internship with Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Medical School. Dr. Trop moved on to her general surgery residency at University of Nebraska Medical Center, then to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center for her surgical critical care fellowship. She is a member of Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma. Her primary areas of interest are trauma and critical care, as well as thyroid and colon procedures.

Care Philosophy: Dr Ricardo Gonzalez is a surgical oncologist and Chair of the Sarcoma Department at Moffitt Cancer Center. He also serves as a member of the Cutaneous Program at Moffitt Cancer Center. He is an associate professor at the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine's Department of Oncologic Sciences and Department of Surgery. Dr Gonzalez' research and clinical interests include outcomes analyses and management of patients with soft tissue sarcomas, retroperitoneal sarcomas, desmoid tumors, gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) and head and neck melanoma.
