Biography: Board certified and practices general orthopaedics with special interest in fracture management, arthroscopy, cartilage preservation and joint replacement. He has extensive experience in sports medicine, having completed a Fellowship in the discipline at Methodist Hospital in Houston, where he trained in advanced open and arthroscopic techniques for knee, shoulder, elbow and hip. He has worked as an assistant team physician to several professional teams in Houston: the Texans, Astros, Rockets and Dynamo, as well as for Rice University and HISD.In addition to his work with professional athletes, Dr. Lin has knowledge and expertise with orthopaedic injuries sustained by military personnel. Following residency, Dr. Lin served as an orthopaedic surgeon and Chief, Department of Surgery at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital, which served the active duty, dependent and retiree population in and around Fort Polk, Louisiana (home of the Joint Readiness Training Center). He was also deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 31st Combat Support Hospital in 2007.Dr. Lin was born in Taiwan and raised in West Windsor, New Jersey.
