Biography: Dr. Roger A. Walker is a Board-Eligible Orthopedic surgeon. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) College of Engineering. He was a member of the Varsity FAU baseball team and was selected in the Major League baseball draft. While practicing as a professional engineer, he obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from FAU. He then pursued his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Broward Health Medical Center, a busy Level 1 Trauma Center. During his time there, he received extensive training in all facets of orthopedic surgery including primary and complex joint reconstruction, as well as complex fracture care and surgery. During his final year of residency he was chosen as a Chief Resident and awarded Orthopedic Resident of the Year. After Residency, Dr. Motisi completed an additional year of fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
