Biography: David Melendez is a board-eligible urologist with HCA Florida Osceola Urology. Using robotic surgery and other advanced treatments, Dr. Melendez cares for patients with diseases and conditions of the male urinary tract and reproductive system. Some of these include cancers of the kidney and prostate, incontinence, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico followed by an internship at New York Medical College in Valhalla. Dr. Melendez then completed general surgery residencies at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and New York Medical College's Westchester Medical Center. He finished his postdoctoral training with a urology residency at St. Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri. Early in his residency, Dr. Melendez developed a strong interest in sexual medicine and men's health.
