Biography: Lourdes T Santiago, M.D. received her medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and completed her internship and residency in General Surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Santiago also completed both a fellowship and research fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of South Florida. An advocate for education, Dr. Santiago gives regular presentations on the topics of colon and rectal cancers, including education reaching the Spanish-speaking population. Dr. Santiago is a proud Veteran, having served as a Major in the United States Army.

Care Philosophy: Perumalswamy Rajaram, M.D., has 40 years of experience in the surgical field. He offers general and specialized surgical procedures, including vascular surgery. Dr. Rajaram is a board certified general surgeon. He received his medical degree from Madurai Medical College and has been in practice for over 40 years. Dr. Rajaram is dedicated to the Polk County community and performs procedures exclusively with AdventHealth Heart of Florida.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Leone has dedicated his career to offering comprehensive care for his patients. He coordinates not only the surgical aspect, but also works with the medical care team so the patient is thoroughly prepared for an optimal outcome and recovery.
