Biography: Dr. Cheynita Metoyer grew up in Bossier City and graduated from Loyola College Prep in 2003. She entered Centenary College, graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology and decided to pursue a career in medicine. She earned her medical degree at the LSU School of Medicine in 2012 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in Shreveport. Dr. Metoyer often offers her expertise at local health fairs and schools, focusing on her interests in prevention, education, and patient counseling. When not caring for patients, Dr. Metoyer enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an active member of her church, serving as an usher, financial secretary and member of the board of trustees.

Biography: A New Orleans native, Dr. Castine moved to Baton Rouge in 1999. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and post-graduate training from the Comprehensive Cancer Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Castine's practice centers around the treatment of all cancer diagnoses, as well as, the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the blood such as anemias and clotting disorders.In addition to practicing medicine, he has volunteered time in the community as the president of the Louisiana Oncology Society for three years. He also served on various local hospital committees and has been a member of several local social and charitable organizations. Dr. Castine is married with three children and enjoys traveling with his family. Most of his hobbies center around family with travel and sports, including fishing, skiing, soccer and hunting.
