Care Philosophy: Dr Xavier Rom n Hernandez grew up appreciating obstetrician gynecologists He watched his mother an OB GYN dedicate her career to women s health She even saved his life at the moment of delivery Today Dr Rom n Hernandez is a board certified OB GYN whose passion for public health has impacted numerous women in the Kissimmee Florida area Dr Rom n Hernandez believes a healthy community benefits every single person living within it Growing up in Puerto Rico Dr Rom n Hernandez graduated with clinical honors and a medical degree from Ponce Health Science University He moved to Orlando Florida to complete his OB GYN residency at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women Babies During his time there he earned the Spirit of Winnie Award Dr Rom n Hernandez also won the Outstanding Educator Award during his residency He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians Gynecologists the American Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association Dr Rom n Hernandez finds delivering babies the most rewarding aspect of his practice He loves seeing the joyous faces of new parents after the long journey of pregnancy It is a beautiful moment to share their smiles and happiness As a husband and father of three spending time with his own family is the most precious aspect of his life When he isn t healing and caring for women s health Dr Rom n Hernandez teaches his kids how to shoot a layup drive a golf ball or hit a grand slam Dr Rom n Hernandez speaks English and Spanish

Care Philosophy: Subhia Rehman MD is an OB GYN physician who joined AdventHealth Medical Group from Michigan State University s Hurley Medical Center in Flint where she completed a rigorous obstetrics and gynecology residency A native of Kashmir and graduate of the University of Bari and the University of Milan s medical school in Italy she enjoys exploring different cultures and speaks five languages including English Italian Urdu Hindi and Kashmiri Dr Rehman earned multiple scholarships while at the University of Milan and was honored multiple times with the Apple Award a token of appreciation from nurses and patients during her residency at Hurley Medical Center She is also a recipient of 2019 Outstanding Resident in Gynecology Oncology by SGO and the 2019 Chief Resident award
