Horrible experience
I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with this medical facility. First and foremost, I’ve encountered several staff members who lack the necessary qualifications and expertise. I can’t recall the exact name, but I believe it’s one of the head nurses. The most concerning aspect of my experience is the doctor’s tendency to prescribe unnecessary tests that are conducted in his office. This practice seems odd to me, and it’s evident that he’s more interested in making money than in your well-being. As a result, you end up wasting your time and resources, ultimately requiring you to seek treatment from a specialist.

Dr. Baltodano is an excellent primary care Dr
I have been a patient of Dr. Baltodano‘s for a few years now, and find him to be very competent, patient, and caring. He has a great office staff, and I have full confidence in the care that I receive there. Dr. Baltodano has seen me and my husband through routine and serious medical situations and is always focused on keeping us healthy. His staff goes out of their way to make us feel welcome and answer any questions we may have. I especially enjoy Myah, Who always has a smile on her face and makes you feel special. All of his nurses and office staff truly care about their patients, which is a pleasant surprise in today’s world.

Do not recommend this doctor! Their only interest is in receiving insurance money. Has ridiculous office policy to return for a full visit for each Rx refill request. Does not even really listen to patient concerns and spends about 1-5 min in the exam room before handing off to their medical assistant.

Great Primary Care Physician
Dr Baltodno is professional and efficient, with very reasonable wait times. Office staff is very friendly. Support staff are knowledgeable, caring, professional, attentive, and courteous. Highly recommend this office for primary care. Dr Baltodano has earned our trust, respect and takes the time to actually listen. He doesn't sugar coat the results.

Top Notch
I'm 85. Dr. Baltodano is the best Doctor I have ever had. In one word, he is thorough. He takes the time to explain my condition in terms that I find easy to understand and answers all my questions. In 7 years I've never waited more than 10 minuets to be seen. The staff is always helpful, and always cheerfully professional.

Rude
Terrible bedside manners. Failed to answer questions I had after my appointment but said i needed to schedule another one for questions. Told me i had a life threatening disease when I didn’t but had me endure 15 days of testing and stress.

Denial of treatment.
Dr. Baltadano denied me treatment because he said I owed him $25.00. This after I had been his patient for over 16 years of prompt payment. He has an unfortunate manner. Always one eye on the clock and the other on the calculator. He refused to refer me for a new physiotherapy appointment because he did not get the $25.00 for a missed appointment that was due to a miscommunication by his staff. I feel this was the actions of an unfeeling unprofessional healthcare rovider. I absolutely do NOT believe he cares one jolt about anything other than money. Can you imagine a doctor withholding treatment until he got his hands on his cheque? I paid the cheque, switched doctors and I am much happier. You could not pay me to recommend this man to anybody. The doctor I am with now would not dream of withholding treatment. I should have left YEARS ago.

Dr. Baltodano has been our family physician since he took over the practice from his father. I have never had any type of problem at his office ever. He has recommended several specialists, and each of these have been top notch. He is very thorough, knowledgeable and always answers any questions we have had. He knows us and I would not thinking of changing. He always lets us know when annual test are due and we value his opinions. His staff always makes room for us when a perceived emergency (by our standard) is a problem. His explanations are easy to understand and clear. His patients are important to him and it shows.

Avoid this sanctimonious excuse of a doctor at all costs. He will order unnecessary tests, he will patronize you when you ask questions, and when you leave him a bad review, he will violate HIPAA laws by posting about your treatment on a public forum. This guy is a textbook narcissist.

Awesome doc. Couldn't recommend more. He's thorough and does more work per visit than just about any other doc I've had. He listens to you and actually EXPLAINS things! I bet he doesn't like it, but I even ask to have him explain the stuff the other docs say because he does it so much better. Also- VERY IMPORTANT- he absolutely makes sure no infectious patients come into the office. This allows his patients to choose whether they want to wear masks or not. Finally a doc that THINKS and is practical.

Caring, intelligent, and very scientifically approached doctor. Recommended by Southlake hospital ER nurses and doctor. Have been seeing him for over 4 years. His staff is very nice. I highly recommend him because he does what is right and not because it is what others do. My husband and I trust him thoroughly.

My neighbor recommended this doctor two years ago after my cancer diagnosis. I have been seeing him and my cancer doctor since then. My cancer doctor at SouthLake Hospital also spoke highly bout him. Since then he has managed all of my other medical problems carefully and with compassion. I like that he is very proactive, aggressive about pursuing medical complaints, especially because I am a cancer patient I need someone who is detailed. I would highly recommend Dr. Baltodano.
