Dr. Wells has a special medical interest in emergency general surgery. Dr. Wells takes a maternalistic approach to patient care. She seeks to understand each patient's goals and to help them achieve them. Her role is to assist, not judge. Care Philosophy: Ani Fleisig, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with additional fellowship training in minimally invasive/laparoscopic surgical techniques and surgical oncology. She believes in treating each patient with respect and compassion, working with the patient on his or her road to recovery. Dr. Fleisig specializes in surgery for a broad range of cancers from breast, skin, thyroid and gastrointestinal cancer to sarcomas.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Robert Levenson Jr. is board certified in medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Levenson understands a patient with a newly diagnosed malignant disease, with his or her family, faces a frightening illness and a potentially bewildering series of choices. His practice goals include making those choices understandable and helping to provide appropriate care resources tailored to each patient's needs. With access to the continuum of oncology services ranging from bone marrow transplantation to hospice, he believes that the Highline Cancer Center provides a level of compassion and personal attention that make the organization unique.
