I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in January. I told Dr. Chue that I didn't want to know my prognosis. I wasn't ready and that should have remained my choice. After specifically telling Dr Chue that I didn't want to know he bulldozed over what I said and proceeded to tell me my prognosis. I am a back woman who is used to this kind of treatment in the medical world but want to caution any women going to see this doctor.

Dr Ben Chue offers Metronomic Low-Dose Chemo
Dr Chue is an oncologist who offers Metronomic Low-Dose Chemotherapy, which preserves the immune system while killing the cancer. Because it's a weekly Low-Dose, the patient's quality of life is excellent! My husband has Stage 4 esophageal adenocarcinoma. 6 months ago he had metastases in his abdomen and groin, and his 'numbers' were going up. 6months later he is in remission with NED (no evidence of disease) and the metastases are gone! And, except for a little controlled and controllable diarrhea, it was painless! Dr Chue has a wonderfully talented and skilled supportive staff that works together to help the patient heal, including the wonderful nurses who administer the infusions. I can't recommend Dr Chue and Lifespring highly enough!!!

Dr Chue has saved my life
Dr Chue and wish team are the best. From the front office and to the clinical team- you couldn’t ask for a more caring team with the same goal in mind - to heal your cancer. I found Dr Chue after a recurrence was found. My breast cancer came back triple negative and stage IV- basically as aggressive as it can be. After 1 full session of chemo, the scans show no cancer. We will continue treatment for another 9 months to ensure all of the cancer is gone. He also takes routine liquid biopsies to see if there is any cancer in your blood. He does routine scans. He is proactive in his approach, rather than reactive as conventional medicine is. Conventional medicine gives you no hope with a diagnosis such as mine. Dr Chue’s goal is to get rid of my cancer and he’s proven his low dose chemo, along with other supplements, worked in previous patients. I finally have hope.

Surprise!
What a surprise. To have cancer and still look forward to chemo treatment with Dr. Ben Chue. He is my one-in-a-million oncologist and safe haven. Smart, kind, and just like a true angel in disguise . On a Sunday afternoon, long after chemotherapy was over, my radiation therapy had delayed adverse effects. Going to urgent care was a frustrating exercise in futility. My husband and I called Dr. Chue and he CALLED BACK when notified by his answering service that it was an emergency. Words cannot describe the relief and gratitude for having found Dr. Chue.

Dr Ben Chue is different and has saved my life
Dr Ben Chue and staff at Lifespring Cancer Treatment Center are truly unique and effective. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in 2020 which progressed to a Stage 4 diagnosis mid-2021. After two operations and chemo, my previous oncologist stated that there was nothing more they could do for me. I found Dr Chue in December of 2021. He immediately put me on a chemotherapy plan that was very different. Weekly infusions of a combination of chemotherapy drugs and support drugs to both lessen side effects and maximize effectiveness. Within two weeks my blockage symptoms lessened. In three months CT results showed that the majority of my tumors were completely gone. The differences between Dr Chue and other oncology experiences with major, well known providers has been profound. He listens and is focused on healing, not just "managing". They truly integrate other therapies. They are amazingly compassionate and accessible. Fellow patients are informed, positive, and supportive.

Six years ago, my wife was told that there was an 85% chance that I would be dead in five years. I briefly saw an oncologist who wanted to be really aggressive with my condition, but I couldn't tolerate that protocol. I chose to be treated by Dr. Chue, who was unfazed by my diagnosis of stage 4a cancer that had eaten a hole in my bladder. I tolerated the low-dose chemo really well. Now, all my scans and tests are still coming back normal. Thanks, Dr. Chue!

“Colon cancer can be curable” Dr Chue told me at our first visit with him in 2014. I’ve just returned from a trip to Guatemala and was sick from food poisoning. I received a scan at Tacoma General and I remember the look on the physician’s face when she told me how sorry she was to tell me that I had metastatic colon cancer that spread to both my lungs and liver. My primary physician told me to live my life and then hospice. I went to SCCA and Swedish hospital and they both said chemo until I can’t tolerate it any longer. My daughters researched and found Dr Chue. He spent time explaining his approach with low dose chemo and then surgery to remove the tumors. I had three surgeries in 5 months. Six years later I can testify that Dr. Chue was correct “Colon cancer can be curable.” Yes, he is brilliant but most importantly Dr. Chue really cares and he is the best and now I can honestly consider him a friend.

I am extremely appreciative of what Dr. Chue did for my sister. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2016, and she passed away after 22 months. She started treatment with Dr. Chue after an unsuccessful clinical trial at Virginia Mason. Dr. Chue was caring, he listened well, he was flexible, he adjusted the protocol based on his judgment and my sister's reaction to drugs. I believe that it was Dr. Chue's caring and kindness that helped her to have fair quality of life for 2 years.

He has saved my life! My husband and I met him July 2014 and started treatment the next day! He does weekly, low dose, metronomic chemo. & supports our immune system. He thinks outside the box. He doesn't use the cookie cutter approach. We see him each time we come in for ANYTHING! He values each patient! He has the best results we have seen! I went from stage IV HER2/Neu breast cancer, dying, to cancer free within a year and half. Now dealing with brain mets but I won't go anywhere else!

Dr Chue and his staff are compassionate and knowledgeable - Back in 2016 I was given 2 months with stage 4 Pancreatic cancer. Its almost a year and things are going well so far. Following Dr. Chue's metronomic chemo was a godsend to me. I just returned from a long road trip :) Peace, Prayers and Love to all fighting Cancer! <3

Over a year and a half ago, witha diagnosis of 3-6 months to live, I was sent home by my oncologist with no plan. My son found Dr. Chue on the Internet and read of his accomplishments. Dr. Chue felt he could give me more time, as he put it. After 15 months of weekly low dose chemo, traveling 240 miles each week and following other medical and naturopathic recommendations, I am blessed to have lived to see my newest granddaughter and living a normal retired life. Many thanks to Dr. Chue and staff.
