Biography: Richard Martin, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who relies on the latest research and clinical guidelines to inform treatment decisions and works closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists and other health care professionals to provide comprehensive care and optimize recovery. Between the holistic philosophy that my education provided and the experience I have had in practice, I have chose to narrow my focus to the sub-specialty of managing solely fibromyalgia syndrome. I'm often asked, ``What is it that's drawn you in that direction?`` And my response always is... ``Imagine a job where you have the ability to positively impact every patient you see.`` I am honored to have the privilege to work with the fibromyalgia community.
