Biography: Zhifu Xiang, M.D., Ph.D. is a board-certified Internal Medicine provider with over 30 years of experience specializing in Hematology Oncology. He treats patients for various hematology oncology related malignancies, benign hematology, and serious blood disorders. Dr. Xiang employs multiple strategies to help his patients and families understand their diagnosis and work with them to create their individualized multidisciplinary plan. Individualized multidisciplinary plans allow Dr. Xiang to utilize state-of-the-art technology and offer clinical research-based care while focusing on providing compassionate care to his patients. Dr. Xiang earned his medical degree from Tongji Medical University, Wuhan, China. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Changyang Hospital located in China. He was awarded Fellowships from Tonji Medical University in Hematology and a Hematology Oncology fellowship from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Additionally, he completed Benign Hematology training from the Division of Hematology Oncology at Brigham and Women's Hospital Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard University. He's a current member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Hematology, and American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Xiang feels it is essential to stay connected with his patients and is their advocate during treatment. Helping his patients restore their health has always been his chosen path.
