Biography: R. Douglas Wills, MD, MS, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Pratt Medical Group in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Dr. Wills is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (formerly Medical College of Virginia) and completed his orthopedic residency training at Wayne State University - Detroit Medical Center.Prior to medical school, he earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Virginia. Dr. Wills has over 20 years of experience as an orthopedic surgeon.Dr. Wills is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is highly skilled in minimally-invasive robotic surgery and in treating high energy trauma to the extremities.
