Biography: Brett Armstrong, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon. Dr. Armstrong treats patients 18 and older and is bilingual in English and Spanish. He performs robot-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries such as appendectomies, hernia repair, cyst removal, gall bladder removal and more. Dr. Armstrong earned his undergraduate degree at Florida State University before attending medical school at FSU College of Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in general surgery at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. Dr. Armstrong previously served as Director of Robotics and Chief of Surgery at St. Josephs Hospital-North in Tampa. Dr. Armstrong takes a thorough and precise approach to his consultations to ensure that he is consistently giving accurate diagnoses. Biography: Dr. Alpendre is a fellowship-trained general surgeon who is specialized in minimally invasive general surgery. Dr. Alpendre received his medical school education from the Federal University of Parana (UFPR) in Curitiba-Brazil, the oldest University in the country. He received general surgery training at one of the most prestigious universities in Brazil State University of Campinas, Sao Paulo (UNICAMP).
