FANTASTIC SURGEON!!!! Great communicator & has the BEST surgical staff. I was more than impressed with Sarasota Doctors Hospital!!

Dr. Hendricks is an amazing doctor and surgeon. He was referred to me by a specialist to have gallbladder surgery. He was so attentive, compassionate and informative in the pre-surgery appointment and at the hospital. He has an amazing bedside manner. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Hendricks. His staff also impressed me greatly, so professional and yet warm friendly demeanor.

Dr Hendricks is THE WORST! He performed what he called a “Perianal Abscess EXcision” on me, which I later found out from 2 different Colorectal Surgeons is not a real surgery. What he actually did was remove the external portion of my anal fistula, while leaving the internal portion intact. This caused me to needlessly suffer for 9 weeks after surgery, while he dismissed me at every post op appointment & told me that I was healing, & I would be fine, even though I was sitting in his office crying telling him about the pain & discharge I was having. Because of what he did to me I needed to have 2 more surgeries to correct what he did to me, & missed 4 months of work!! He is friendly sure, but INCOMPETENT. & will dismiss your concerns rather than take accountability. DO NOT TRUST HIM WITH YOUR HEALTH. I am forever traumatized.

Dr. Hendricks spent time with me and I appreciate that. He seems very smart and I feel good about choosing him as my surgeon.

Dr. Hendricks is a very talented surgeon and wound care physician. I am grateful that he was frank with me about the serious infection in my leg and foot. Dr. Hendricks was able to save my foot, and possibly my leg, from complete amputation. In my opinion Dr. Hendricks’ skills, knowledge, communications and patient care are on par or better than physicians in large medical centers!

He may be a very capable surgeon but he was very rude and irate and we did not go through with the surgery because of it. Upset my wife and refused to do the surgery because of her asking simple questions said she was no cooperating. He make the rules I guess and not cooperate is set at the top of the bar with having simple concerns.

Dr Hendricks did Rays gallbladder & hernia surgery.. He was very patient, kind & explained every step he did with us.. We recommend him highly ... And YES we will definitely use him again if we need to!!

De Hendricks did surgery on me by removing my gall bladder and while do so he found a mass on my ovaries he was the only that took to search and the problem I was facing. I Thank you Dr Hendricks for who you are and what you do thank you for believing in me when no one else did. Thank you for your kinda and comforting.

He explains everything and is so compassionate. He is very thorough also.
